This Veterans Day, we’re giving a special shout out to the automakers that currently offer notable new car savings and incentives programs to veterans, reservists, and retired and active-duty military personnel who put their lives on the line to protect ours.

Acura - $750 Offer

is available to eligible customers towards the purchase or lease of any 2014 or newer model year Acura, . 

According to Acura, this offer applies to active-duty U.S. military and reserve personnel and their spouses, as well as U.S. military retirees regardless of their date of separation from active service.  Spouses of U.S. military retirees are also eligible to take advantage of these savings within 180 days of their spouses’ separation from active service.  Finally, U.S. military veterans and their spouses are eligible, within 180 days of separation from active service.

Chrysler Group - $500 Bonus Cash

Chrysler’s Military Bonus Cash offers a $500 cash allowance under the company’s , for 2014 model year vehicle purchases and leases.  The $500 cash allowance program covers all new 2014 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT vehicles, but excludes Dodge Viper SRT, FIAT 500 Abarth, Dodge Dart SE and all SRT models, .

Chrysler says this offer is eligible to active military, active military reserve, retired military (honorably discharged), and retired military reserve (honorably discharged). Honorably discharged veterans are eligible within 6 months of discharge date.

Ford – $500 Bonus Cash

offers $500 Bonus Cash towards the purchase or lease of an eligible new 2013/2014/2015 model year Ford vehicles, .  The program cannot be used in conjunction with AXZD-Plans.

Ford says it offers $500 Bonus Cash to active military personnel in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard, as well as reservists serving on Active Duty and members of the Delayed Entry/Enlistment Program(DEP).  Veterans who are separated from service within the last 180 days, retirees, and spouse/surviving spouse, or other household members are also eligible.

GM – Up to $10,041 in Combined Discounts

Probably one of the best military discount programs available, the offers varying discounts on specific vehicles in its lineup, including the following 2014 models:  Chevy Impala, Buick Enclave, GMC Sierra 1500, Cadillac CTS, Chevy Cruze, Buick Regal, GMC Terrain, and Cadillac XTS, .

GM’s combined discounts, which typically include a Military Discount Price, Bonus Cash, Consumer Purchase Cash, and a USAA Private Offer, can mean savings of $10,000 or more.  For example, these combined discounts netted a total of $10,041 in savings on the 2014 Cadillac XTS.

According to GM, eligible military personnel include active duty members, reserves, veterans within one year of discharge date and retirees, including their spouses, of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard and Coast Guard.

Honda - $500 Bonus Cash

The can be used toward the purchase or lease of any 2014 or newer model year Honda (excluding Honda Fit-EV and Honda Clarity) using a valid Honda APR, Leadership Lease™, or Leadership Purchase Plan program through HFS (excludes Zero Due at Signing Lease program). Vehicles must be new, unregistered and not previously reported sold. The offer is unless terminated earlier by HFS. 

This offer applies to U.S. Military active-duty and reserve personnel and their spouses, as well as U.S. Military retirees regardless of their date of separation from active service. Hyundai - $500 Bonus Cash

With Hyundai’s Military Program, eligible customers receive an additional $500 off all 2014 and all 2015 model year new Hyundai vehicles, . 

Customers (or spouse) must be Active Duty, Reservists/National Guard, Veteran, or on Retired status in the U.S. Military at the commencement of the program period.  Hyundai defines active, veteran, or retired U.S. Military for this program as customers serving or having served in the United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, National Guard, or Reserves.

Infiniti- Up to $7,389 below MSRP

Infiniti has a special that has been extended to active, reserve, retiree, and veteran U.S. Military that provides pre-set new vehicle pricing at or below invoice price, plus all applicable incentives, . 

Total savings on 2014 and 2015 models vary.  Sample discounts include total savings below MSRP on 2014 models ranging from $2,604 on the 2014 QX50 Journey, to $7,389 on the 2014 QX80.  On 2015 models, total savings below MSRP range from $3,202 on the 2015 QX50 AWD Journey, to $5,594 on the 2015 Q70L 3.7.

Kia - $400 Bonus Cash

The provides $400 bonus cash on various vehicles in its lineup, .  However, in our research, we found Kia dealers willing to offer more than the $400 national discount, so be sure to check local dealer offers in your area.

Customers eligible for the Kia Motors America, Inc. (KMA) Military Specialty Incentive Program must be an active member of, honorably discharged from, retired from, or on disability with the United States Armed Forces or Reserves (including those that have national status from another country and are serving in the United States military) or the spouse of the eligible participant.
