For three straight weeks, the average price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. has been declining. According to AAA, the average price of a gallon of gas stands at $3.47. This is $0.35 cheaper when compared to the same time last year. This is a very good sign when you consider that in July, a gallon of gas was $0.26 more expensive than it was the same time last year.
AAA says the decline is expected to continue in the coming months, barring a national disaster.
