The Los Angeles Auto Show opens its doors to the public at the LA Convention Center, December 1-10, 2017, and we've got some hints and teasers to give you a sneak peek at what's coming.

So far, it's looking like an exciting show with everything from supercar concepts to plug-in semi-autonomous people movers. Check out what we know so far and keep checking back soon for our coverage of the must-see vehicles at the LA Auto Show.

BMW i Vision Dynamics

Already globally debuted in Frankfurt last September, BMW is adding a luxury sedan to its electric stable of products which now include the i8 and i3. They say this will be the third fully electric BMW and will have an impressive 373 mile electric range.

This electric luxury saloon will also perform like a champ. It promises zero to 62 mph in under four seconds and will travel up to 120 miles per hour. The key innovation is the window profile with the windows seemingly "blended" together, allows both the front and the back seat passengers full view outside the car. BMW says this is a pre-cursor to the future of autonomous cars where everyone is riding and not driving.

2018 Jeep Wrangler

Jeep has given us excellent photos to lavish our eyes on what will be the 4th generation of this iconic design.

The photo does show some subtle changes - more rounded edges and raked windscreens with what seems to be a shorter greenhouse. All will be revealed soon, but we're happy to see the strength of its iconic shape will stay intact and we're looking forward to hearing about some engine choices that could include "advanced fuel-efficient powertrains" as reported.

Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster GTS

The 718 GTS Cayman and Boxster will be revealed to the public for the first time at the LA Auto Show, with most of the upgrades found under their respective hoods.

The new versions have replaced the old flat-six engines for shiny-new turbocharged 2.5-liter flat-fours – much like the ones currently used in Porsche’s S-badged models, only with an additional 15 horsepower – a total of 365 hp and 317 lb.-ft. of torque. They also go from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds to a top speed of 180 mph. Porsche reports that these models will be available in March of 2018.

2018 Mercedes-Benz CLS

This mysterious teaser photo is what we've seen so far of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS redesign before the show opens on press days.

The newer grille shape has been seen on other recent Mercedes-Benz models - including the larger-than-life Mercedes brand emblem. The most striking part of the teaser is its newly-design LED headlamps that resemble an electronic set of flared nostrils.

Another teaser photo of the interior teases a huge dual-screen digital display that looks much like the one in the current E-Class. The screen shows the settings for climate and lighting that mirror the S-Class system where you can select between Freshness, Warmth, Vitality, Joy, Comfort, and Training.

2018 Volvo XC40

We are excited to see an in-person showing of the Volvo XC40 for the first time in the U.S.A at the LA Auto Show. The smaller XC40 follows the mid-size XC60, which followed the 3-Row Volvo XC90 - each now with the latest technology, updates, and large iPad-like center screens.

As always, Volvo brings superior safety technology and efficiencies to this small SUV, plus plush interiors and great exterior style.

Bollinger B1 Sport Utility Truck

It's been around for several months, but the Bollinger B1 Sport Utility truck, with its convertible backside, will be a big attraction at the LA Auto show this year.

Powered by either a 60 or 100-kWh battery pack, two electric motors making 360 hp and 472 lb.-ft. of torque, it's a gnarly electric truck with a combination of 120 and 200 miles of range between the two engines.

2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir

No big news here, but Buick has taken the regular LaCrosse and fancied it up with shiny chrome mesh grilles, special badging and a few more color choices.

A standard feature package makes for added navigation, sunroof and a Bose sound system to sweeten the deal.

2018 Genesis G70

The Genesis G70 is the third sibling of the Korean luxury brand's stable of sedans. SUVs have been promised next, but until then, we'll enjoy this small, sporty luxury sedan based on the Kia Stinger platform. It's coming to market with three engines, a V6 and two 4-cylinder variations getting as high as 365 hp.

2019 Land Rover Range Rover P400e

Its name might seem familiar, but the soon-to-be-announced 2019 Land Rover Range Rover P400e is the full-size version of the recently announced 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport P400e. They are both plug-in electric hybrids, but the non-sport version will be the big announcement at the LA Auto Show this year.

With the same engine used in both vehicles, there's plenty of economy and power available in the largest Range Rover now. An impressive combined output of 398 hp and 472 pound-feet of torque moves this large SUV from 0-to-60 mph in 6.4 seconds to a top speed of 137mph. The all-electric engine has a range of 31 miles, then teh 2.0-liter four-cylinder recharges the battery and powers via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
