March is here, and with it comes a fresh list of rebates and incentives on new cars and new trucks.  Kicking things off this week is the 2014 Ford Taurus full-size sedan, which is available with the choice between zero percent financing plus $750 cash back, or a full $4,500 in total cash rebates.  The 2014 Nissan Pathfinder full-size SUV is next with its 0.0% financing plus $500 cash back offer or $2,000 in total cash back, followed by the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox compact SUV and its choice between zero percent financing or $1,500 in factory cash back.  The 2014 Dodge Charger R/T full-size sedan delivers 0.0% financing or $2,500 in cash back, while the 2013 Toyota Avalon presents a completely different full-size sedan experience with exactly the same zero percent financing or $2,500 cash back offer.

Each of these deals expires at the end of the month, so don't wait around too long if you're currently in the market for any of these new vehicles.  Make sure to check back with us next week for more bargains and deals on new cars and new trucks.

2014 Ford Taurus

The 2014 Ford Taurus presents full-size sedan shoppers with a roomy and stylish offering that comes in a variety of different trim levels.  Even enthusiasts will be happy with the Ford Taurus provided it is ordered in its high performance SHO edition, which bundles in a long list of go-fast features.

The 2014 Ford Taurus is initially offered with a 3.5-liter V-6 that is good for 288 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque.  A fuel-efficient EcoBoost four-cylinder unit that displaces 2.0-liters is available as an option, and it generates 240 turbocharged horses and 270 lb-ft of torque while returning 22-mpg in city driving and 32-mpg on the highway.  The Taurus SHO benefits from a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.  Each of these engines is shifted via a six-speed automatic transmission, and while all-wheel drive is standard with the Taurus SHO, it's optional with the standard V-6.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing plus $750 cash back or $4,500 total cash back on the 2014 Ford Taurus available until 03/31/2014.

2014 Nissan Pathfinder

The 2014 Nissan Pathfinder makes a strong play for family shoppers with its three rows of seating (for up to seven passengers) as well as 79.8 cubic feet of total cargo space.  As big on the inside as it is on the outside, the Nissan Pathfinder drives much like a large sedan thanks to its car-like platform.

The 2014 Nissan Pathfinder's base engine is a 3.5-liter V-6 that be counted on to provide 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque.  A continuously-variable automatic transmission sends that output to the front wheels by default, although all-wheel drive can be ordered as an option.  Fuel economy figures for the Pathfinder are listed at 20-mpg in stop and go driving and 26-mpg on the highway.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing plus $500 cash back or $2,000 total cash back on the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder available until 03/31/2014.

The 2013 Toyota Avalon stands in stark contrast to the Charger R/T, as it performs its full-size sedan duties with a much more reserved attitude.  Attractively styled and with an enormous passenger compartment, the Toyota Avalon is a comfortable cruiser aimed at those who don’t intend to light up the tires any time soon.

The 2013 Toyota Avalon is available exclusively with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission handles the shifting duties for the Avalon, and fuel efficient for the big four-door is advertised as 21-mpg in city driving and 31-mpg on the highway.
