Gallery: New Cars from the 2018 Paris Motor Show

The Mondial de l'Auto 2018, or better known to us Americans as the Paris Motor Show, is running from October 4-14. While most of the cars on display are intended for other markets, there are a handful of cars relevant to us in the States. We've composed a small gallery highlighting cars we can get excited about on this side of the pond, along with a few more international newsworthy vehicles that are shown on the floor this year.

2019 BMW 3-Series

The 2019 3-series was BMW's biggest debut in Paris this year. The 7th generation of the brand's most iconic model doesn't look much different to our eyes, but everything is completely new. Also new? This is the first time the 3-series will not be offered with a manual transmission.

BMW iNext Concept

The iNext Concept provides a look into BMW's plans for their future top of the line all-electric SUV. This concept has been shown before around the world to journalists, but the Paris Motor Show is the first time the public is able to view it.

2019 BMW Z4

The 2019 BMW Z4 is the all-new version of the brand's 2-seat convertible. The car was jointly developed with Toyota, who will also get a hardtop coupe version of its own — and will be known as the Supra. The Z4 will be available in March 2019.

Honda CR-V Hybrid

Honda showed a production-ready version of the all-new 2019 Honda CR-V Hybrid in Paris. Although no specific information about it's availability in the United States was announced at the show, Honda has previously stated that all "core models" will eventually be available with hybrid powertrains. Since the CR-V is arguably "THE" core Honda product, we think it's safe to say it's coming.

2019 Hyundai i30 Fastback N

Available to the European market, the new i30 Fastback N from Hyundai is a new five-door hot hatch that would be comparable to a Volkwagen Golf R or Honda Civic Type R. It won't be coming to the States, but if this piques your interest, you could consider a Hyundai Veloster N.

Infiniti Q60 Project Black S Concept

Sorry enthusiasts, the Infiniti Q60 Project Black is still a concept for now. What makes it exciting is that its been jointly developed with the Renault Sport Formula One Team. With the world's first dual-hybrid powertrain, it's one of the first hybrids that could hold it's own in the motorsport community.

2019 Lexus RC

If you are unsure about the Lexus RC, think competitor to other popular luxury coupes like the Audi A5 or BMW 4-Series. It was recently given a facelift for 2019 and was given its global debut in Paris.

2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan

Coming to dealerships at the end of this year, the Mercedes-Benz A-class sedan is all new for 2019. The A-Class was previously shown in Brooklyn this summer, but still remains an exciting and new vehicle for the showroom floor in Paris.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class

Although previously unveiled, the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE-class will be on public view for the first time at the Mondial de l'Automobil in Paris. The SUV will go on sale in the U.S. in late 2019.

Porsche 911 Speedster Concept

The Porsche 911 is about to begin a whole new production cycle, but before the brand closes out the current generation, they always debut a Speedster model to mark the very end of its run. The 911 Speedster concept was unveiled at Porsche's headquarters in June of this year, but an exclusive red version was displayed on the carpet in Paris. Porsche has confirmed a production model is coming this year.
