What Is The Ram Heavy Duty Black Package?

The Ram Heavy Duty Black is a Ram Heavy Duty (a Ram 2500 or 3500 SRW) equipped with the optional Ram Black Appearance Group, which was previously only available on 1500 models as the Ram Black Express. The Black Appearance Group is only available on certain trim levels (for example, it is not available on the base RAM 2500 Tradesman).

On the Heavy Duty models the package includes Black Clear Coat exterior paint, blacked out front and rear badges, deleted side badges (unless you opt for the diesel engine, in which case you can still get the Cummins badge), black painted front and rear bumpers, black door handles, and a black grille surround. You also get 20 inch by 8 inch black painted aluminum wheels with black center hubs and LT285/60R20E OWL On/Off Road Tires. Black bi-function projector headlamps with LED park/turn/position lamps, LED side markers, and black premium tail lamps complete the exterior modifications. Vehicles with the Black Appearance Group also include the ParkView rear back-up camera to help the driver maneuver the vehicle around obstacles.
