The Lexus Blind Spot Monitor is an active safety system that uses radar technology to monitor the vehicle's blind spots. To help drivers change lane with more confidence the Blind Spot Monitor uses warning lights on the appropriate exterior mirror to warn when it is unsafe for the driver to change lanes. The system works at speeds above 25 mph, but should be used in conjunction with the mirrors and manual blind spot checking, as the system does have some limitations.
