What Is The Jeep Willys Wheeler Package

The Jeep Willys Wheeler package is a trim package available on the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited that combines key off-roading components with retro styling. The Willys Wheeler package is powered by a 285 HP 3.6l Pentastar 24-Valve V6 engine that puts out 260 ft-lbs of torque, backed by a 6-speed manual transmission (with an available optional 5-speed automatic transmission) and the Command-Trac shift-on-the-fly 4x4 system with 2.72:1 low range.

Off-road features on the Willys Wheeler include a Trac-Lok limited slip HD Dana 44 rear differential, a next generation Dana 30 front axle, 3.73 gears, Rubicon rock rails to protect the rocker panels, Performance Suspension, and LT255/75R17 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain TA tires. These combine to provide a “Trail Rated” 8.7 inches of ground clearance, an approach angle of 40.6 degrees, and a departure angle of 37.4 degrees. Available removable half-framed doors allow for open-air motoring and better visibility when off-road.

The visual modifications include a gloss black grille and bumper appliques, a “Willys” hood decal, deep tint windows, and black dash and cloth seats. The package also includes the Connectivity Group with Bluetooth, Uconnect and SiriusXM satellite radio.
