What Is The BMW M3 Competition Package?

The BMW M3 is the highest performing model in the 3-series range and is available as either a coupe or sedan. The optional Competition Package is available on both the 2-door and 4-door models and is designed to make the car even more dynamic and exciting to drive. In order to achieve this the suspension is lowered by almost half an inch to lower the car's center of gravity and exclusive lightweight 19” wheels are wider than stock to increase grip. The Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) has been modified and the package includes Electronic Damper Control (EDC) with a new Sport mode designed to take take advantage of the suspension and wheel changes. An optional carbon carbon front splitter and rear splitter improve aerodynamics noticeably, especially at high speeds. All of these modifications work together to achieve the highest level of performance possible.
