The Audi Bang & Olufsen Sound System is the top of the line audio system available in some Audi vehicles. Depending on the Audi model the sound system features 12 or 14 speakers (including a subwoofer) that are powered by a 10-channel 465 to 505 watt amplifier. The speakers are specially placed in each vehicle for optimal sound reproduction, and settings can be adjusted for each individual seating location. A microphone measures background noise and system levels are automatically adjusted to compensate.
