Audi's A3 is a small 4-door sedan powered by either a 170 HP turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that drives the front wheels or a 220 HP turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that uses Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system to power all four wheels. No matter which drive system is chosen, power is sent through a 6-speed Audi S Tronic dual-clutch transmission. To add some performance touches to the car, the A3 has an optional sport package. The package includes front sport seats and a 3-spoke multifunction sport steering wheel with shift paddles. Also included is Audi drive select, which allows you to change the car's handling and suspension characteristics. Optional summer performance tires are a no-cost option on all vehicles; however, the Sport package is only available on vehicles with the Premium plus or Prestige trim lines, and is not available on cars with the base Premium trim line.
