What Is Mercedes SPLITVIEW?

Mercedes SPLITVIEW is a technology that allows the COMAND screen to display two different images simultaneously, one visible to the driver, the other to the passenger. The system works by using pixels aligned in alternating rows with an optical mask designed so that the driver and passenger can see only the pixels meant for them. The result is the ability to show two different images, allowing the driver to view the navigation screen while the passenger watches a movie.
