The BMW Dynamic Brake Force Display helps drivers behind your car know how hard you are braking in order to help them react quickly and reduce the risk of a rear end collision. Each of the brake lights are split into two different sections, one that is used during normal braking, and a second that only lights up when heavy braking is detected to increase the brake lights’ intensity. Just before the vehicle comes to a complete stop the hazard lights are also activated. When the vehicle accelerates again the hazard lights are automatically deactivated.
