BMW Apps is part of the ConnectedDrive system that allows you to sync your phone to the car's infotainment system to use apps to access Facebook, check Twitter, and stream music from your iPhone or iPad. The system uses the iDrive screen and can also read Facebook and Twitter messages aloud to reduce distractions. In addition to the Facebook and Twitter applications, there are apps for Google Services and Siri Activation. Music apps include Audible, AUPEO! Personal Internet Radio, Deezer, Rhapsody, Pandora, Stitcher, and TuneIn. There is also a BMW Connected app that lets you control the ConnectedDrive system from your iPhone and a BMW M Laptimer app for analyzing closed-course driving.
