What Are the Cadillac ATS Engines?

The Cadillac ATS is a 4-door compact luxury sports sedan available with a choice of 3 engines. The entry-level engine is a 2.5-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine that puts out 202 HP and 191 lb-ft of torque, available only with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive with a 3.45:1 axle ratio.

The next step up is a 2.0-liter turbocharged DOHC 4-cylinder engine capable of 272 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged engine comes with a 3.27:1 axle ratio and is available in rear-wheel drive with a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission (which also adds a limited-slip rear differential). The turbo engine is also available in all-wheel drive, but only with the 6-speed automatic.

The 3.6-liter DOHC V6 is the top of the line engine and puts out 321 HP and 275 lb-ft of torque. It is offered only with the 6-speed automatic transmission, in both two-wheel and all-wheel drive with a 3.27:1 axle ratio.
