I love this car
Pros: Great steering, easy to control, great brakes, dependable
Cons: Seat
I would definitely recommend this car to a friend.Very good vehicle
Pros: The individual heat/cool button for front seats.
Cons: The comfort of a big car.
Volvo has been dependable and fun to drive. It has room in the back for all my art easels, etc. The safety bags in front and side are comforting to be there and the engine construction is good to slide sideways in case of an accident. It rides easy but much smoother when carrying a load. I like it.2005 V70T
Pros: Sound of audio system, heated seats.
Cons: Small door pockets.
The car is joy to drive, very comfortable and quiet. Turbocharged engine is very fuel efficient and powerful Luggage space is a big and with folded rear seats is possible transport surprisingly large objects.Pros: road manners
Cons: cup holders and lack of space for cell phone package
Advice: opt for the 2.5T engine package w/auto transmission
I purchased 10/2003 and after 23000 miles, it's still an enjoyable automobile. The 2.5T with sport package provides quick acceleration, lots of low end torque, great handling and excellent fuel mileage. My wish: Volvo should have offered factory options for XM radio, GPS nav, and integrated cell phone.Pros: THE ENTIRE PACKAGE, AND GREEN TOO!
Cons: not a thing
Advice: test drive the others, price them and you will be driving VOLVO
quiet,THE most comfortable seats, quiet and safe....not to mention regular gas and 26mpg average!!!Pros: The perfect all-around car for people who live in the Real World
Cons: It's perfect -- but does it have to cost that much? Geez!
Advice: Forget ego cars--does your family deserve anything less?
Volvos just keep getting better and better, and this newest V70 may just be the best yet. All-day comfortable seats, great sound system, lots of room for everybody and their gear, good power, better brakes, handling that shames lesser (read: Axis) cars, and a stealth factor that will keep you out of trouble--unless you do something massively stupid, the cops won't even notice you. And if you really do something stupid and have an accident, the car will save your life for you. Everything is laid out perfectly, with all controls (save the sunroof and windows) within a hand's breadth of the wheel, as it should be. Even the nav system is safety-minded, popping up out of the dash in line with the road so you don't have to look down to see where you will be going next. I'd pass on the normally aspirated 2.4 liter engine, as its power is just adequate. The low-pressure turbo is quite impressive, and is almost as fast as the full-on T-5 model in around-town driving. Where the T-5 really shines is on the highway, with passing power and top end to spare. And now, we get the 'R' model, which has 300 HP, all-wheel drive, Brembo brakes, and a semi-active suspension that can be set anywhere from 'parade float' to 'Laguna Seca Raceway'. I had a chance to drive this one, and was completely blown away. You want this car. Me, I plan to buy one ASAP. If you're smart, you will, too.Pros: The seats.the stereo, the ride.
Cons: storage in front
Advice: rides like a cloud for a SUV. Handles like a fine European road car.
Quiet, alert, comfortable, able to do anything you want, when you want. Car is luxurious along with utilitarian. No need to worry, this car will rise to the occasion, whatever the need. At the same time you'll have the peace of mind you are in the safest vehicle on the planet. Lacking some nooks and crannys of my previous V70 for storage, but much more sophisticated in all other ways. Great car !
