V50 Sport Wagon
Pros: Auto Stick shift feature
Cons: seat adjuster for passenger seatOutstanding vehicle in both quality and performance. I have 150,000 miles on this vehicle and it has better fuel economy now than when it was brand new. Averaging 29-30 mpg hwy and 25 city for the last 20,000 miles. The 5 cylinder engine is potent and plenty of power for highway driving. Handling is superb and the car corners like it is on rails. Only area that might be improved is the adjustment for the passenger seat. A bit clunky for such a nice car. This car is well made and is still quiet and squeek free after 150K miles. The car looks and drives like a sports car and still has the functionality of a small wagon. Seats are comfortable and provide great lumbar support.
Wonderful Blend of Convertable & Hardtop
Pros: Convertable Top
Cons: The cost, but it is a great value.I have owned many convertables over the years, but this is by far the best! I am a person who normally gives out average ratings on everything, but this superb automobile deserves the rankings I have given it. If you want qulality, convenience, style and comfort the Volvo C70 delivers!
Not bad at all
Pros: Driving it
Cons: fuel mileage, turbo lagI could nitpick the C30 to death, especially the crowded center console; but the overall driving experience is great. It is a competent touring vehicle for long, or short, distances and it is NOT a sports car. Very comfortable at 75 to 80 mph (where permitted by law:). Even for commuting, it makes you want to take the long way through the country side. I do regret not buying one with a manual transmission. Would I buy another one? Yes! In fact....
Classy and practical convertible.
Cons: Light leather has picked up some stains that are difficult to remove. Seats are comfortable but should be a little more adjustable.Volvo C-70 is a very comfortable ride. Looks good enough to turn heads, but is practical enough to seat 4. Not as sporty as some of it's competitors, but sporty enough to be fun to drive and by far the safest convertible made. Built quality is excellent. Hardtop is very well conceived and has less moving parts than competitors and has had an excellent reliability record. Great sound system and bluetooth works well. More trunk space than any of its competitors.
HeadacheYou should consider a Volvo if you enjoy paying the pricey dealer mark ups for fixes and repairs. I have had mine in the shop literally 12 times since April due to issues causing my fan to burn out. I replaced the fan in April, and have replaced it 3 times in 2 weeks. The car has almost caught fire 2 of those times, and the dealer told me that because they didn't put the fan it, that is the problem. BS it is the same fan that Volvo would use, but they're mad that I didn't pay twice as much for them to do it. Now, even though last week when I took it in 2x in 3 days & BOTH times they said they fixed the problem, they are charging me almost 700 dollars to replace the fan AGAIN-so this will be the 5th fan this car has had in less than 3 months!!!!!!! I intend to pick the car up from Volvo & drive to another dealer & trade it-SAME day. Who wants a car that tries to catch fire every 2-3 days? And then get to pay $85 to tow it back just to pay an additional $700 to not have the problem fixed!
A Good Safety CarI like the features that Volvo is known for. Where on most cars they are considered as an add-on, it is standard on Volvo. I feel very secure driving this car. The safety features are the best! You would enjoy the ride!
Ok for a wife, not a husband
Pros: Pick-up speed.
Cons: Poor visibility, extremely poor gas mileageFrom a retail perspective not as good as other options. Only would consider a Volvo in the future if deeply discounted.
