Pros: maneuverabiliy in traffic, great accelleration with the turbo
Cons: cornering not as smooth and tight as I'd like
Advice: deserves a test drive comparison with it's competitors.....I never considered or gave a thought to Volvo until I test drove one out of curiosity at the last minute one day.Fun to drive, handled well....the T5 is suprisingly comparable to its German and Japanese competitors
Pros: Bluetooth technology
Cons: Backseat room
Advice: Wait for the dealer to drop the price; I saved $7,000Smooth ride - better than my last Audi A4; AWD handles well on corners and in snow weather. Features are well received, including new bluetooth technology. For those who want a luxury sports car without BMW or Audi price - but with the same handling, Volvo S60 is it.
Pros: the drive is very smooth and handles very well.
Cons: lack of room in the rear seats
Advice: Buy it!Never even test drove the V50 I knew I wanted it once I saw it.
Pros: Engine performance
Advice: Test drive and compare dollar-for-dollar with BMW 3-series.Model tested: 6-speed Manual Transmission Smooth and powerful acceleration off the line. Great passing capability. Excellent smooth braking. Quiet. Superb driver ergonomics. Adequate visibility.
Cons: A bit small for a 4 door
Advice: Buy It!!Excellent
Pros: The style of the car is awesome
Cons: Where do I start - lack of reliablility
Advice: Look at something else until Volvo can work out the problemsI have been very surprised with the lack of quality of this car. I love the way it looks, however, its performance is very weak. It has been in the shop several times, and it continues to develop new problems frequently. It is certainly not a reliable vehicle.
Pros: Don't have one.
Cons: All the problems I have had. It's been in the shop lots.
Advice: They are great cars. Just be patient because you WILL have to put it in the shop a few times.I love my car (and so does everybody else). I have had a few problems with it. The computer needed replaced. I found out because my stereo stopped working and my keyless entry wasn't so great. Now, one thing I will say is the keyless entry doesn't work all that great. You have to be pretty close. My fuel pump was recalled and the mechanic guy at Volvo said that it might happen again so watch the check engine light. That's boring! The back seat is a little cramped. I don't have the turbo so it's a little weak going up hills.. BUT I do love my car and would buy it again.
