In love with my car!!! I drove a BMW 328i and a Mercedes C300 before driving the Volvo. Totally happy with my purchase and am now a "Volvophile"!
Great car but a little bit expensive when Youtube have to repair it.
Hate Volvo's service department
Pros: Stereo system
Cons: Having the car serviced
I will never buy another Volvo because of the awful service department. The guys at Bergeron Volvo have the worst service department hands down. The car itself is sleek, sexy and safe. I'm currently car shopping, but a Volvo is no longer an option for me.good car, effective for long distance taveling
Pros: good handling
Cons: issues with rain and electrical problems
liked the car alot, until it gave a few problems in major rainstorms, but that is to be expected. Traveled alot with some llong distances, volvo gave a clean ride the whole way.Safety and sleek
Pros: Looks very stealth-like.
Cons: Nothing to share.
Love my car. Handles well.V50 Sport Wagon
Pros: Auto Stick shift feature
Cons: seat adjuster for passenger seat
Outstanding vehicle in both quality and performance. I have 150,000 miles on this vehicle and it has better fuel economy now than when it was brand new. Averaging 29-30 mpg hwy and 25 city for the last 20,000 miles. The 5 cylinder engine is potent and plenty of power for highway driving. Handling is superb and the car corners like it is on rails. Only area that might be improved is the adjustment for the passenger seat. A bit clunky for such a nice car. This car is well made and is still quiet and squeek free after 150K miles. The car looks and drives like a sports car and still has the functionality of a small wagon. Seats are comfortable and provide great lumbar support.Headache
You should consider a Volvo if you enjoy paying the pricey dealer mark ups for fixes and repairs. I have had mine in the shop literally 12 times since April due to issues causing my fan to burn out. I replaced the fan in April, and have replaced it 3 times in 2 weeks. The car has almost caught fire 2 of those times, and the dealer told me that because they didn't put the fan it, that is the problem. BS it is the same fan that Volvo would use, but they're mad that I didn't pay twice as much for them to do it. Now, even though last week when I took it in 2x in 3 days & BOTH times they said they fixed the problem, they are charging me almost 700 dollars to replace the fan AGAIN-so this will be the 5th fan this car has had in less than 3 months!!!!!!! I intend to pick the car up from Volvo & drive to another dealer & trade it-SAME day. Who wants a car that tries to catch fire every 2-3 days? And then get to pay $85 to tow it back just to pay an additional $700 to not have the problem fixed!
