Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
I wanted the clean diesel to be greener & use less fuel. On the interstate at 70-75 I get around 50 mpg I drove the car for months in congested stop & go traffic, my average mileage ran between 32 to 34 miles a gallon. On rough roads it can be a little loud, but if I am listening to stock sound system, which sounds great, I do not notice it even at low volumes. The motor has a lot more get up and go than I was expecting from a diesel and it handles great in curves. I like it a lot!!
Works well !!!
Great ride, lots of fun to drive. Definately a German car b/c of the fit and finish of the car. I have only had the car about a month, but so far I love the car.
very nice car!!!
Pros: Response! This car kicks it!
This is my 2nd Jetta and I have owned Honda's, Nissan's, Acura's, Subaru. I love cars! I went back to the Jetta for it's perfomance, response, good handling and over-all value. It just feels like 'more' car to me.Good Car
Pros: 5 cylinder
Cons: no fog lights
2011 Jetta, bang for your buck~No regrets
Pros: Manual gearbox, flawless shifting feel
Cons: iPod connector option
We've owned our Sportwagen for 3 months and 4,000 miles, includes driving 2,000 miles at Christmas. So far, the quibbles have been minor compared to the positives. Handling and shifting are superb, seats and steering column are very adjustable (although my wife finds the front seats a touch too narrow). Gas mileage is as per the EPA (23 city, 33 highway). The lie-flat rear seats are a real plus for hauling large objects in the back. We're having problems with the iPod connector that the dealer is going to work on soon. But overall, we're very satisfied.
