Love the car! Hated the oil consumption.
Pros: Hard top convertible
Cons: excessive oil consumptionI truly loved the EOS and had so much fun driving it. Just stay away from 2.0L because it has a known problem with oil consumption! If you pick the 6 cylinder you should be good. Enjoy!
Pros: Turbo for melding into traffic using on ramps.
Cons: Absence of a 'memory' drivers's seat.I have the Eos 2.0 OT. Performance is great. It is a wonderful all season auto. Snug in the winter (heated seats warm quickly) and fun in warm weather. Not much room for more than two adults, but I realized that when I purchased it. I was very disappointed a 'memory' driver's seat was not an option.
Pros: Hard Top Convertible
Cons: When it rains and I cannot put down the convertible top
Advice: 2.0T is enough engine to meet anybodys needs.I love this car. I think it is a keeper.
Pros: The Roof
Cons: It wasn't free
Advice: Just do it if you love itI drove a 2.0T with DSG two weeks ago. I loved it. I then decided to cross compare with some other cars I had interest in. I bought the EOS I test drove yesterday. I call it my new lover. It should have been called the Eros. I am totally head over heels for this car. Even when it was snowing in April I loved it's giant glass roof. It is just a joy to drive and has the best seats I have ever sat in. The blend of luxury, comfort, sport and price were just right for me. I remember what it feels like to go drive for sheer pleasure of it. I am already figuring out the longest, out of the way routes to get from point A to point B.
Pros: Hands down- all around show stopping new 'TRANSFORMER' convertible function!
Cons: not having homelink option available yet
Advice: Don't buy one- I want to keep it my special secret and not see an EOS on every corner!Totally WOW! I had driven ALL the import convertibles and needed more room, Lack of back seat didn't work. I was ready to retire the 'MOM mobile', but not ready to give up seating for 4. My husband was pleased that I decided to test a vehicle with a loaded price over $10,000 less than the competitor's. The absolute icing on the cake was the fact that I didn't have to listen to the 'great outdoors' and wind buffeting from a ragtop, but can choose to be a HOT MAMA with the top down and the wind in my hair, or, can just be a princess in my - not looking the same as everyone else's- hardtop.
