Bringing a 20th Century icon to the zero emissions concept category of the 2012 North American International Show in Detroit, the Volkswagen Beetle showed up as the E-Bugster concept.

As a plug-in battery car, the E-Bugster has a sporty and speedy looking design, all packaged under the Beetle tradition of fun looking compact design.
