Nice car for family
Pros: Power seats and nice stereo system
Cons: Sunglasses compartments
Selling this car because kids are grown and they want their own car.this car has been my family car and we enjoyed it and now is time for a small car just for the wife. Great car with almost brand new tiresIt's great
Pros: mileage
Enjoy my Highlander, no problems, only great performanceDisappointment plus
Pros: gas mileage, excellent acceleration from a standstill.
Cons: ride, road noise, headrests, side windows fog too easily, cloth seats, too much body plastic, transmission
I was expecting a little more after reading the reviews in various magazines and after owning a 1998 Sienna, which I loved. The Hylander I purchased is a 4-cylinder, 6 speed, with a third row bench seat. No bells or whistles. Pretty much stock. Diappointments - transmission does not shift smoothly, the ride is rough, the headrests are too far forward, the road noise is atrocious, too much plastic, driver's seat cloth wrinkled and stretched, weak A/C, side windows fog up too easily, and the original tires wore out (cupping) under 25,000 miles.Defies expectations
Pros: the 4wd is second to none. Unbelievable.
Cons: The lack of headroom
The ONLY complaint is that no one taller than 6'0' could possibly be comfortable driving this car. 2' of headroom are gone due to the sunroof, making it a just-barely fit for 6'0'.Pros: seat comfort and ride
Cons: interior is cheep for the price
Other than the few nagging red lights one of the best ride's that I have ownedGreat car
Pros: rides nice
Cons: blind spot when backing up
Great car..regretted not getting darker interior..was not available on the 'lot' when initially purchased..no exceptional 'extras'.WHAT A REAL SUV SHOULD BE WITHOUT THE SACRIFICE O
Pros: Rear view camera, stereo, convenient cargo area made of durable materials
Cons: I do not like the radio tune button that is sooo far out of reach. Also, the gas pedal is too touchy, especially in reverse.
I bought this 4Runner LTD in April 2010. No problems so far. Avg MPG is 19. Driving on the highway is comfortable, as is in the city too. All time 4WD is great combined with locking differential if needed. Seats are comfortable, gauges & buttons are very intuitive.
