Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: Car has plenty of pep.
Cons: No place for a waste container.
Advice: Check out the sledge factor before buying.Smooth transimission, good acceleration, very comfortable inside, looks good, and good quality inside and out. Also like the fact that it is smaller than our previously owned Park Avenue, but still is quite roomy inside.
Pros: THE LUMBAR SUPPORT ACTUALLY WORKS!
Cons: NO REAR WINDOW WIPER
Advice: TRY IT, YOU'LL LOVE ITVERY QUIET, NO WIND NOISE, LOTS OF KICK AND A BEAUTIFUL LEATHER INTERIOR. MUCH SOFTER AND SMOOTHER THAN THE OTHER CARS THAT I TEST DROVE
Pros: quiet engine & ride
Cons: front end nose design
Advice: inspect your vehicle carefully before buying, make sure details are addressed such as paint finish if choosing for darker colorFor the price this is a value car without paying the premium name . the metallic paint shows some finishing problem just 3 week old but the paint shown & feel very rough on the surface . layout isn't as good as the camry the hood is mis-alignement . Overall interior quality is good . Strong engine & very smooth & quiet
Pros: It's VERY smooth and comfortable
Cons: HIGHWAY DRIVING IN THE WIND(car sways a LOT)
Advice: Take it on the highway if you plan to drive a lot on them...not good in the WINDThe only negative thing I can say about this car is that on the highway in windy conditions it seems to sway and I really HATE the way that makes me feel. I do NOT like a car you feel you have to 'hang on to' in the wind. Only negative thing I have to say about it though, which I guess is a pretty important thing if you drive on the highway a lot.
Pros: The comfortabe ride, how quiet
Cons: More power would be nice
Advice: Just take it for a test ride is all I have to sayQuiet..............Calm..............Very comfortable....Very reasuring. This is a car that I entend to keep for a long time.
Pros: seats and handling
Cons: odometer visibility and size of the sun visors
Advice: make certain that you know the options which are available and know that the ones you desire are present on the vehical you are looking at.drives like a champion. odometers impossible to read while driving. this makes it hard to follow driving directions at night on country roads. compares well with our 1996 cad sedan deville in almost all respects.
Pros: engine/trans response
Cons: finished appearance of door trim panels
Advice: inspect your vehicle carefully before buying, make sure details are addressedoverall response very good..gas mileage met epa specs,,,vehicle quiet ride very good thru 75 m.p.h.,,automatic heater/a/c controls very poor due to hi reflection of daylight reflection,, almost not seeable when bright light reflection shines on window display of settings..takes too much of your time to see where certain settings are and much of the same complaint appies to the sound system settings display.. fine at night with dash lights on but very poor in hi reflective conditions...with abs system brake pedal a little too soft for me..really wonder if the vehicle will stop in time..i have an xls version 2001,, finish very good except for all 4 door trim leather panels,, poor mold while being formed in manufacturing has left raised edges around power window/door lock contols,,looks poor,, toyota inspected and laughed at it and said no help.$36,000 and laughed and said no help!!!what a joke on me...customer satisfaction didn't apply just save the warranty money on replacing the door trim panels...the district service mgr. made that decision on the spot...
