BEST CAR FOR THE PRICE
Pros: Lots of leg/headroom; Excellent reliability record
Cons: Wish they had kept the Dark Gray interior.Needed to trade-in our '94 Benz S430. Costing more to keep running than it was worth. Looked at E-Class Benz, LS & GS Lexus, A/S6 and A/S8 Audi's, 5 and 7 Series BMW. Finally settled on the '11 Avalon, but '11 E-Class V8 Benz and GS Hybrid were a close second (Love those AMG's, but ouch!!! The $$$). Been looking at Avalon since the '09 model. Liked the change in the console. Having screen for Nav behind 'glass' was cumbersome. Like the extension and multiple memory for the driver seat (I'm 6' 2'). Lots of room in the rear, even for me. Don't know why they needed two (2) separate locks for the tilt/telescope steering wheel. Miss the Laser Cruise Control. Upgrades on interior styling help bring it closer to the more costly Lexus. Like the change for the exterior rear, also. Checking brouchure stats show that Avalon has more leg, head & shoulder room than LS Lexus. Seems to have more pick-up from standing start and passing than the previous models, although not as good as the German rollers, but Avalon is much less costly to maintain than the Deutche's.
Such an improvement!
Pros: The Bluetooth and voice navigation.
Cons: Nothing so far, and Im on 8500 miles.I rented the 2010 Avalon and drove it 1000 miles at least and fell in love with it! I then bought the 2011. Im only 25, so the styling isnt awesome, but its okay. I love the comfort, and that makes up for it! You can also mod it with TRD packages.
3rd and BEST EVER!
Pros: The recling rear seats, the smart-key system, the power passenger seat, and the ALL one-touch automatic windows!
Cons: You cant use your iPod as a remot when pairing it with the Bluetooth. This is my 3rd Avalon. Ive been driving them since I graduated high school, and the two that I used to drive are now driven by my cousins. Each has at least 200k miles. This Avalon is even more comfortable, quieter, and better looking than before. I also like to power and fuel economy boost. It handles better and hugs the curves like a sports car. I love my new Avalon, and if you try it, you will feel the same!
Very Best Vehicle I have ever owned!
Pros: Take off when needing to go immediately.
Cons: NoneThis is my 6th or 7th Toyota but my first 4-Runner. IF I HAD THE MONEY, I'D BUY ANOTHER ONE 'NEW', however, my next will need to be financed and I don't want large payments so will have to downsize in my car type and probably make.
Best of the Best
Pros: Bench seat in front
Cons: Can't think of a thing in the 'least' catagoryThe best vehicle I ever owned.. One major problem at 65,000 miles (computer failed).Excellent in every respect. Never had a breakdown on the road. Bought a '11' Avalon as a result.
My 2008 Dream Avalon
Pros: Gas milage better than expected, ride is wonderful when compared with a mid sized car.
Cons: Have noticed abnormal wear on the vented leather seats. Seat back portion. Having this look @ by factory rep.Have enjoyed owning this car, it took 3 years of looking for the right Avalon and price. I was able to purchase a Limited instead of an XLS and I'm glad that I did!
Pros: DurabilityGreat Vehicle in Excellent condition
