Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
I bought this car used a few months ago. I like this car because of the great gas mileage. Every tank I have exceeded the rated mileage for this car. This used car has been very dependable (no issues in yet). This car has most all the features you would find in a 2016 version.
The 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE feels luxurious. It also has surprising pick-up. It doesn't hurt that it gets 40 miles, or more, to the gallon of gas. The second best Hybrid that I found (but did not buy) is the Volkswagen Turbo DIESEL Hybrid Jetta.
I have no doubt I would give the overall rating of this car 5 stars were it not for the arrogance of the manufacturer to own up to problems and provided quality customer service. But, Toyota, like most auto manufacturers is only interested in the bottom line and will ignore known problems, even try to hide them. This car is superb in so many ways, that it is disgusting the manufacturer would allow ill will to exist on peripheral issues. Our big issue is the abominable navigation system.
Hesitating Hybrids
Pros: It's a hybrid
Cons: It's a hybrid
I love Toyota's Camry so I decided to buy a used hybrid (2007) for the good gas mileage. I did a 10 minute test drive but failed to recognize a slight hesitation during the transition from the battery to the gasoline engine. If felt like the car was skipping and needs attention. Toyota said that was natural for all hybrids. I sold it and returned to my more comfortable but less economical SUV Ford Explorer.Milage with comfort
Pros: Milage
Cons: Less luxury than wife's Lexus
39-40 MPG highway; 36 city with the comfort of a larger car.Great Vehicle
