Pros: dvd and sound
Cons: heater
great family van mostly highway miles driving between south kansas and kansas citygreat vehicle
Pros: drives like a car
Cons: 2nd row side windows are fixed
ever bit as good as the Quest I owned.Pros: Entertainment system
Cons: Access to third row - impossible.
Advice: Dont' buy it
My main complaint with this vehicle is your ability to access the 3rd row seating area with the Captain's chair as the second row seats. The design is poor and there is no easy access even folding the seats forward. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone who needs easy access to the 3rd row.Pros: The satellite radio--oops I installed that myself!
Cons: Read the review...I've listed almost everything there.
Advice: RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN--Do not buy a Relay!
It's been a year since my last review. Here's an update...We've had to have even more work done. The tires are chopped up and we think this is due to an axle problem. We have had the radio and dvd player replaced, and the sliding doors adjusted to hang correctly in their rails to stop the grinding. The door moldings have been reglued. Startup had been having issues that were dealt with. Alternator is up to no good again (replaced x1). The wind noises and air leaks are driving me batty. The kid's seat belt adjuster is broken on one of the seats in the back. The accessories are a nightmare. oh yeah my absolute favorite--we had the tire jack replaced--it bent when my husband went to use it to rotate the tires! The engine still runs fine. The back doors have continued to work properly after they were fixed (lock and alarm issues). I wanted to update my previous review for all the people who look at these to help diagnose their own Relays. If your lights are blinking, its the alternator. Check your tires--how is your axle? The doors are known to open spontaneoulsy in these vehicles--according to other websites. I feel like the more knowledge we all have, the better to combat Saturn and the service staff into getting our issues fixed! Thanks for reading.Pros: we love the room and the tv is great for the kids
Cons: we cant get it out the shop to drive it to say
Advice: watch what you buy!!!!!!
i got my relay new and we have had it for three months and it has been at the shop for a month and a half of the time with a water leak that they cant seam to fix we have asked for a new one and i dont think it is that much to ask for being they cant fix this one and we are making payments ever month on it.but the service we have got from the 1-800 number has been no help we are very up-set by all of this.all i can say it watch what you buyPros: large sliding doors for easy access
Cons: Horrid quality
Advice: Run like hell
Leased this vehicle from a St.Catharines Ontario Saturn dealership in Jan 06. Inthe first 7500 KMS we have had; a faulty wheel bearing which where the dealer mistakenly replaced the incorrect side resulting in a return trip. Cracking sounds from the front end which were diagnosed as inproperly factory mounted body panels grinding together. The stereo system was faulty/not powered, needed replacing. The Onstar had the exact same problem/no power and needed replacing, and as well, needed a second trip to the GM dealer to correct the problem which wasn't solved on the first try. The rear hatch hinges failed to support the hatch, and had to be replaced; lost compression. To top it off; as I write this review, the steroe and Onstar are both having periodic 'power outages' or failures which cause them to be temporarily without power. It is fair at best on lieage, and the ride is fair at best. Turning radius is poor, but the pracicaility of the vehicle is fantastic as in most vans. This vehicle starts and drives, but the fit and finish and quality are pathetic. Cannot wait to get away from this lease and go and get the Toyota I originally wanted. Tried to stay domestic first, but have been let down for the last time.Pros: comfort inside
Cons: difficult to add towing package
Advice: Have the dealer search for the one you want. Ours did and brought it in from another state.
Have just over 4k miles on our 2006 Relay 2 including a trip from Maryland to Florida. Avg 23mpg. Rides great as great pickup and handling. The entertainment package is great for trips and around town.
