Pros: Looks and handling
Cons: Lack of leg room for driver
Bought brand new in 2004. I have had no major problems with this car. I change the oil and keep the fluids up and it's performed well. Good car for the money, though I wish there was a bit more leg room.Perfect for teenage girl
Pros: gas milage
Cons: small
car has required simple maintenance and has been everywhere, has been great economy carPros: Nothing
Cons: I've owned this vehicle for 2 yrs, almost everything in it has broken down. Timing chain, engine mount, radio, rotors, unbelievable!!
Advice: I wouldn't recommend this vehicle unless I happen to have gotten a lemon, and in that case I should be recompensated.
FinePros: gas mileage
Cons: cup holder placement
Advice: drive it..
I love my 2005 sunfire !It is a great car for my price range ! Handles well and has a sleek look that I was looking for in a car. the only draw back I have found is the placement of the cup holders.. and that is it... the rest is awesome !!!Pros: Low cost
Cons: Low qualtiy and too plastic-like
Advice: Have heard 1/2 bad and 1/2 good from friends who own sunfires. Don't take the chance Get a carfax report or keep looking
When I test drove this it was perfect and the price was really low but now I know why. It is a 2005 and 1500mi under warranty (now) and I have taken it to the shop 5 times (no exaggorations) for a low clicking sound I hear randomly as I drive and not over rough roads, just highways and neighborhood streets! as if something under the hood is lose. The plastic dash is annoying and loud and doors sound hollow when slammed. Uncomfortable after a few hours of drivingPros: my favorite feature would have to be the color and the rims.
Cons: I hated the placement of the cupholders.
Advice: My advice is to buy this car for a highschool or college student, because of the sporty appearance.
When i test drove my sunfire sport i fell in lone with it. I would have to say that, for the money, it's one of the best cars on the market. The one feature that caught my eye was the color. It's electric blue with chrome rims and the monsoon sound system. Love and first traffic light.Pros: the front lights
Cons: stupid hard to change stereo system
Advice: if you want to put in a aftermarket deck there is a lot of stuff you gotta do first, research it
pretty good power for a 4 banger
