    2005 Nissan Pathfinder

    No

    Pros: The Bose sound system

Cons: The wireless garge door opener

I bought this suv brand new with 30 miles on it,within 5.000 miles of driving the belts, arm rest, and break pads had to be replaced, and at 45.000 miles the seals for the transmmision has to be replaced. Yes everything was covered under the warranty, but i'am affraid about what is coming next. The engin virbration is exssesive even by putting in super unleaded only, howver it is a very goodlooking suv. It performs quite well. meaning that it starts up every morning.

    2007 Nissan Pathfinder

    Nissan Pathfinder

Pros: sitting high up over the road

    Cons: the gas milage

I love my Pathfinder. Not that good on gas mileage but I seem to drive it hard in city traffic. This is my 5th Nissan. Loved them all.

    2005 Nissan Pathfinder - LE 4x4

    Pros: Safety

Cons: Third row foot room too cramped for feet my size (12).

Advice: Don't expect good gas mileage; probably not a good commuter because of that.

For a nearly 5000 pound SUV, the Pathfinder LE 4x4 handles very well in normal conditions and exceptionally well in inclement weather conditions. The LE is a luxery vehicle for a relatively moderate price. The fit and finish of the one I have is very good all around. It has been very reliable. I feel confident and safe when driving it.

    2006 Nissan Pathfinder - LE 4x4

Pros: 3rd row fold down seating - extra storage room and great for kids - they fight over who gets the 'last seat'

Cons: The cheap windshield wipers. For vehicle that originally listed at over $40k

Advice: If you do a lot of driving

I bought an '06 used even though I was originally looking for a new '07 vehicle. Sales person showed it to me - has every bell and whistle you can possibly think of, except for a v8 - and the v6 gets just good enough gas mileage for the large amount of driving I do. It also has plenty of power and tork. Had I not driven this 1st, I would have missed out on 1 excellent ride! It also handles EXCELLENT in the snow!

    2008 Nissan Pathfinder - LE 4x2

    Pros: HDD navigation

    Cons: Gas mileage

Advice: If you want a safe suv and mid size this is the one, you are getting alot for your buck.

I have just purchased my 3rd pathfinder, Nissan really step up to the plate on this one they had too!. Nissan has always design a beauiful car and suv but when it came to the inside to interior they really mess up! They went plastic, plus they always had 3 different colors, the door would have 2 color and the dashboard would also have 2 color going on way to much. The console has been redesign where it user friendly and looks beauiful. The 10 speaker Bose system is great. The only thing I dont like is remote keyless entry for some reason I like having a key to start my suv. Plus it seem every manufacturer has Intelligent key they all look the same. The pathfinder ride great, its very smooth even going through the montains on tight corners. I really like the HDD navigation very easly to use. And having the rear camera is god sin. My only wish is they should had gone to a bigger screen on my dvd 7 inch is to small. With Calif law coming to effect this Jan about using your cell phone. Now having the bluetooth is great, it was very easy to pare my phone. But you do need to go to Nissan web site to see if your phone is compatible. I feel very safe knowing they have redesign the construction of w/front and rear crumple zones. I give a rating on the overall rating 9

    2005 Nissan Pathfinder - SE 4x4

    Pros: The 270 HP Engine

Cons: The Cheap Plastic Dash board

Advice: Do not touch the Dashboard, you will scratch it.

As an owner a new 1988 SE(12 YRS) and a new 2005 SE(2 YRS)Pathfinder, I have a quality opinion. The 2005 has plenty of power, looks good and drives well, tows great. This however is NOT the choice vehicle if you have very small children or want to keep it looking new for many years. Small Kids cannot open OR close the rear doors, driver cannot turn on the dome light from his seat, (when the kids lose something at night), the plastic dashboard SCRATCHES too Easily, (light colors even worse). HVAC controls are cumbersom. If you don't keep it very long, it's a good SUV.
