Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: Apperance... Looks like a Porsche.
Cons: The Bose Stereo is horrid... Nissan needs to get rid of bose entirely.
Advice: Just buy it already and don't waste time test driving it!Awesome. Best car on the market for the price.
Pros: Body Styling
Advice: Go For it..The Best Value on the Market Today !!I bought the Performance Model back in January. What a rocket!! I've driven more expensive Porsches and Corvettes and this rates just as high and more bang for the buck. While Nissan crimped on certain features it gave back on others.. I'm looking forward to the first real ROADIE !!!
Pros: Everything is my favorite feature.
Cons: Vision through the rear window but it is a small price to pay...
Advice: Get a test drive! Or just know up front that it is a stiff ride but well worth the 46K out the door with the premium package. You get out of the car shaking with excitement. My wife says it is like drinking five cups of coffee.I have owned my 350Z for to weeks now and love it. It is not for everyone as the suspension is very taut. It has a race car stiffness and since I was not allowed a test drive it took some getting used to. But what a thrill it is to drive and I can even fit almost comfortably and I am six foot-one plus. I have never driven a car so fast. I live in the heart of the California Wine Country and close to the hair pin curved Pacific Coastal Highway 'One' and I can pass a tourist in the blink of a cop's eye. I also have an, all be it, old, but which I bought new and keep up, 1989 Audi 80 Quattro, a 1997 Volvo GL Turbo and 1995 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer but they are nothing like this 287HP rocket. Of course this would not be a good ski car like the Audi and the Ford either. At age fifty-seven I feel like I am thirty again and as a professional driver, I drove a cab in San Francisco for ten years and now have driven a transit bus for fifteen years, I respect the danger of speed and the potential injury to others. But that said, it rips! It reminds me of the sports cars in my Haight Ashbury youth. Now my problem is getting my wife to let me drive it... Ahh but she gets to drive it to work, through the Northern California Wine Country, twice a day, with some Blue Grass Music in its Bose, six CD in-dash system. One needs to see this country to believe it, especially now during the winter with the 'rolling hills of Virginia green'.
Cons: the brake dust on the rims
Advice: check the paint real good..mine had orange peel..test drove it on monday...purchased one on tuesday..beware of the paint..nissan is currently repainting my 1 month old vehicle due to an orange peel appearance..so thoroughly examine your paint before you buy one!!!!
Cons: It needs a front glove-box
Advice: Get ready to gulp and fly.Never did a test-drive. I ordered it on its specs alone. When my black Performance model arrived, I couldn't stop staring at it. It demanded attention. Having owned it for a week, I am still pinching myself. It offers more acceleration, handling and, yes, comfort than I would ever imagine in a sports car.
Pros: The engine!
Cons: Flimsy storage space in the dash
Advice: It's worth the wait...Phenomenal! Can't begin to describe the handling and speed! Most of all, it's very comfortable and rides like a dream!
Advice: its worth the moneyawesome
