Pros: Power doors
Cons: Dealer selection was limited
Advice: Drive the Town and Country last and you will understand why.
Rides and Handles like a dream. Its hard to believe that you are driving a minivan. excellent sound system and extremly comfortable bucket seats. Best minivan value around!!!Pros: The easy in and out seats
Cons: I put in thicker floor mats and the drawer under the passenger seat won't open with the mat in place.
Advice: Dodge and Chrysler are virtually identical; go with the best deal you can get.
This is my third Dodge/Plymouth mini-van. It is the best van I could find in terms of maximum cargo space and family comfort. The rear bed is relatively flat for cargo and the seats are easily removeable for more space. The individual seats are much easier to remove and replace than the bench seats in my '98 Grand Caravan.Pros: V6 Engine
Cons: The Dealer
Advice: Finance before you get to the dealer
Great work truck. Very comfortable ride empty or full. Ready for 200,000 miles at least.Pros: The soft ride, and steardiness of the vehicle
Cons: The change engine oil light is hard to reset
Advice: Buy it from a dealership that is known for service
I own a 2000 Venture, I bought it new, and now have 42,000 miles on it, and I have had no problems with the vehicle, other than a burnt out wire leading to the fuel pump. Once the problem was found, no problems. I have nothing bad to say about the vehicle, but the dealership, is another issue.Pros: table between the seats
Cons: to many small compartments all over the front cannot use cup holders
Advice: be cautious - the windshield will probably crack and it is $700.00 to replace
windshield cracked for no apparent reason. I know of 4 Sedona's that have this problem. KIA will not fix it. Other glass companies have told us the Sedona has a stress problem.Pros: Where do I start? Power everything (even hatch)
Cons: Tires look too small
Advice: If price isn't an obstacle get the limited edition it's worth it!
Great acceleration and pick-up for a mini-van. All chryslers rock.Pros: PRICE & LOOKS - Leather Seats.
Cons: No power sliding rear doors & or security system.
Advice: Forget the 'KIA' image - compare the features & the price!
I was amazed! I had looked at the GM, Ford, Dodge and Honda Min-Vans – and for the price and standard options available I was sold. We bought ours for about $1000 less than MSRP – it came with the optional side body molding, leather bucket seats, Anti-lock Breaks and Home Link (fancy garage door opener) plus all the standard features – electric rear window (pop-out), fog lights, rear heater, rear A/C controls, rear window defroster, front window & side mirror deicer, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, overhead lights (7), clock/trip computer, STORAGE, & CUPHOLDERS (everywhere) and MORE. A similar Windstar with all the extras to match would be almost $8,000 more. The only major item it doesn’t have is power rear doors. The 3.5 liter engine with the 5 Speed Automatic provide plenty of power thru all speeds. The standard options are amazing – the rear heating work great (hasn’t been hot enough to really test the A/C). The sound system (AM/FM/Cass/CD – 6 Speaker) is equally to many luxury car system – far better than some of the other mini-vans I looked at. The ride is very smooth and quite, engine noise is extremely quite. The seats are all very comfortable, and there is plenty of leg room – the rear seat are a little difficult to get to with the optional bucket seat in the middle and the head room is a little close for adults, but the kids have no problem. I was told when I bought it that it was design to get a five star rating from the government, but that it had not been tested yet. Since then it has been tested and did receive the five star rating, so if safety is a concern this is the van for you – unfortunately the extra weight does reduce the gas mileage, we are getting around 18 during normally driving (better than the 15 they said). If you are looking for a min-van – make sure to check this one out!
