I just LOVE this car!
Pros: Very smooth rideI bought this car in 2009, as a Lexus Certified Pre-owned Vehicle. Other than routine maintenance, I've only had to have a few fairly minor items replaced, which were covered by the CPO warranty. Otherwise, I think that the car is GREAT!
Its a great car
Pros: There is not sound of engine
Cons: Its pick up some time is slowVery smooth ride and comfortable in long and short runs.
Pros: The Mark Levinson stereo is beyond great
Cons: overall qualityThe build quality is terrible on this vehicle, unfit for ANY modern vehicle. Clicks and noises from the dash, driving light comes loose, noise from the front suspension when going over bumps, Creaks from the armrest, poor gas mileage, the vent air director on top of the dash on the passenger side just lifts out etc. Pathetic for the Lexus brand and this vehicle has never been in an accident and has been properly cared for since new.
Pros: The total quiet and comfort
Cons: More power
Advice: If you want a quiet and comfortable auto, this is the oneThe car is fast, but is no sports car. It is extremely comfortable. The air cooled seats are terrific. I have had no problems with the auto. The car rides like a dream.
Advice: Go for the GS.I have 16,000 miles on my ES330 and I still have hesitation problems between 1 to 10 miles per hour. I started putting a higher octane gas in it and that seems to be helping a bit but not totally. Otherwise I love the interior, the nav system, the sound system and the smooth ride. I probably wouldn't buy again because of the transmission issue. I can't seem to get past it. I'm thinking about an Infinity or Audi.
Pros: full size spare on a matching rim and overall quality
Cons: hesitation on acceleration
Advice: price shop this car and look for the best price without a trade inIt is true, there is a hesitation on acceleration from a dead stop. I do think that lexus should offer a fix for the problem. My wife drives this car mostly and she has told me that when we first got it,it did hesitate for her, but now she does not notice it. It does hesitate for me when I drive it. Other then that I like the car, the interior is luxury car quality and the exterior fit and finnish is excellent, although it does not have a 'telescopic' steering col. and the controls for the heated and ventilated seats are very small. I do not notice any 'jerkiness in the tranny like some of reviews state. Overall I would give this car a 8.75
Cons: Difficult to see traffic conditions with a quick glance out of the driver's side; I have to physically turn to see other cars.
Advice: Check for rattlesI like my car-owned for 1 1/2 years now, except for an annoying rattle in the moonroof trim. It squeaks every time I hit a minor rough patch in a road. The dealer said the noise was caused by a bottle of hand soap in the map pocket on the passenger door--not true! I'll try a different dealer for my next service.
