Our's is diesel powered and so far is an excellent vehicle. MPG- 25 city, 29 highway. We bought it with 20,000 miles on it and can't figure out why someone one sold it, maybe it was a leased car but was like brand new. Current mileage is 77,600. The service cost for the diesel system is expensive if you have it done at a Jeep dealership but it has a complex control system and I don't want take a chance on someone without the proper training working on it.
too many recalls /screwed up electrical/u-connect/transmission problems look at jeep forums/sites see how many people are sorry they bought these 07/13 to 08/28/13out of this batch made 92,000 recalled might be the biggest Lemon ever and the worst according to reviews the dealers/manufacture are not resolving the problems
GREAT VEHICAL
We love our Grand Cherokee. It is a very nice, rugged appearance and drives and feels tight and quiet. The v-6 Pentastar engine is giving us 20-21 mpg on the hwy. The Limited Edition has every accessory you could wish for.
I am totally satisfied for the money paid. I have had no unusual difficulties and no problems.
We rented a redesigned Grand Cherokee about 1 year ago and LOVED IT! So we bought one! Jeep really upgraded the interior and options. The ride is exceptional - smooth and quiet. We bought one with leather seats and panoramic moon roof. It's comparable to high-end luxury SUV, but at a much lower price.
A good car
Pros: Comfort
Cons: power
Somewhat under powered but a good utilitarian piece of equipment
