ok
Pros: suspension
Cons: mile per gallon on city roads
not on the hummer style but close enough to test drive on rough terrainNo matter how much lipstick its still a jeep.
Pros: Its a nice color.
Cons: How many times I have to check gas prices and use my card.
Watch any old WW2 movie and see what its like. It can do anything asked except be very comfortable and have any resemblence of being fuel effiecient.Almost perfect design
Pros: The looks, dash layout, and driving comfort.
Cons: The 3rd row seat is useless, never used, and forced the 2nd row to be less roomy than it should.
I love the tough-looking squared-off looks of this vehicle. It has been mechanically very sound, and after 102,000 miles, still looks new, inside and out, despite some pretty heavy on-road and off-road use. The fit, finish, and overall build quality has been superb. The dash layout and seating position/comfort is perfect. My only complaint about the design of this vehicle is the cramped 2nd row seating. This should have been much roomier for an SUV this size. It is clearly compromised by the presence of 3rd row seating, which for me is completely useless and stays permanently folded down. Had this SUV been designed as two-row seating only, with plenty of 2nd row leg room, it would be the perfect SUV in my opinion.Overland (Commander) is the best of the best
Pros: Too many to list, the built in garage door opener
Looked for my Jeep for over 3-1/2 years, finally found it Red Rock Red, suede and leather seats, too many extras to mention. Have not seen another like it anywhere in the Bay Area. I love it. This is my second Jeep. The last one was a Grand Cherokee Limited and it was beautiful as well, but my commander is the best.Pros: retro look
Cons: poor reliability
Advice: find something else, its not worth the risk
I bought this car with 17k miles on it in early 2007. Since then, I have replaced the torque converter, the starter, and have continuously brought it to the dealer for odd loss of power when the electronic stability control kicks in for no reason (backing out of uphill driveways, small bumps in the road) Twice now my car has had the malfunction indicator light on blinking which means tow me! The first time the dealer (not my regular) the computer codes were fictitious and that I needed new tires. This time it is still in the shop (2 hours from home) many computer codes came up and the first thing they are doing is putting in a new crank sensor so they can get the car to start! I love my car, but its not worth the hassle or the worry everytime I go on vacation! I could use some help on how to fix this!Pros: MY GIG/NAV SYSTEM / STEREO /CAMERA/++++++
Cons: NO DARK TINT ON DR & PASS WINDOW
Advice: GET THE 4.7 -- PLENTY OF POWER
You do NOT need the HEMI; the 4.7L IS ALL YOU NEED gET rEAR cAMERA, mYgig, nAV, UCONNECT, ETC. mAKE SURE YOU GET THE 'APPEARANCE PKG' T OSET YOU APART FROM PACK--$95 ADDED T OSTICKER GIVES YOU REAR CHROME HANDLES & CHROME BOLTS ON WHEELS FLARESPros: the vehicle in total
Cons: gas milage - but knew that when purchased.
Advice: get the V8 hemi engine.
I love this vehicle. It has all the ruggedness of a true off road SUV and has great pick up and handling on the highway with the 5.7 V8 Hemi engine! Interior is well designed and the kids love the entertainment system in the back seats.
