2010 Jaguar XK - Base Coupe
Pros: The paddle shifting is revolutionary. The handling is sure and forgiving. It is quiet inside.
Cons: The seat will not recline enough for me to be comfortable & is too narrow in the shoulders.
Advice: If all they have is black and gray
The Jaguar has a quiet roar which betrays a well-bred confidence. It is a gentlemen's car without being quite tame. It trounces without showing off. The new 5 litre V-8 in the 2010 is very responsive and can get 24 mpg on the highway. I have never seen a car merit such reverent attention and respect. -
2007 Jaguar XK - Convertible

Cons: integrated NAV
Advice: use the nav/audio/hvac while driving--switch back and forth from Nav to turn heat or a/c on and off--consider whether this will bother you while driving in every day traffic
Have owned the 07 Jag conv. for 2 weeks now. Classy, very nice driving car--improvement in handling over prior model is amazing--no cowl shake--feels like solid piece of aluminum--paddle shifters change gears amazingly fast. But in my opinion, the entire experience is severely marred by irritation of integrated NAV/audio/hvac--must go through minimum 3 screens just to turn heat or a/c on or off--extremely irritating and unsafe to have to look at screen so long while driving--also cannot see screen in sun--probably would not buy car again b/c of this---too bad, b/c otherwise is a truly fantastic car.
