Pros: love every thing as long as your driving during the day light hours
Cons: high beams are focused so high that they do not illuminate the road
Advice: beware of safety issueEvery thing that you have read about this car is true (its great), its hard to believe anyone being disappointed with the M45 Sport. However if you drive this car on the highway at night you need to know that the design if the headlights is faulty. The high beams are focused so high that they do not illuminate the road in front of the car at all. There is a single adjust for both high and low beam lights so if you take your car to the dealer they will misalign the low beam focus if you complain of the faulty high beams. I drive 70 miles at night on a desert highway to work daily, if you diver you M45 in town this will not be an issue, if safe night time driving is a concern to you beware!
Pros: The brakes are amazing.
Cons: Front passenger seat-Does not adjust up/down.
Advice: It smokes Lexus, Acura and all BMW 5 series..Except M5.Owned 3x Lexus vehicles. This was the best performance vehicle for the cost value. Best back seat room for adults. Stadium seating in the back. Like the tech gear, rear camera, voice activation that actually works and the bluetooth for my blackberry. The passing power is top-notch and my boys have nick' named the car: The spaceship. All good here.
Pros: The overall look of the car
Cons: Bumpy ride
Advice: n/aCar looks great, and was very comfortable. Great Sound system! The ride seemed a little bumpy to me.
Pros: Engine and performance
Cons: Having to wait to get it. But I'll live
Advice: If you are looking at BMW, Audi, Mercedes or Lexus. Make sure you drive this.I just bought an M45 Sport unfortunately, I can't pick it up until March 1. The dealer was very helpful and prior to buying, the dealer let me test drive a demo model for a day. This is the most amazing car I have ever driven in this car segment. The 335hp engine is powerful yet controlled and refined; you never are at a want for power or acceleration but all the power is delivered smoothly. The car looks stately and elegant but expresses an aggressiveness I like. Additionally, the technology in the car is amazing and the voice control and navigation systems are simple to use. Finally, this cars offers everything and more than other comparable cars in this segment (Lexus, BMW, Audi and Mercedes) at thousands less. I can't wait till 3/1!!
Cons: Altima looks
Advice: Negotiate on the price, they are scared of the new GSHonestly, I could not wait to drive this car. I have contacts that let me drive this and the new Lexus GS as well. I wanted a sportier sedan, automatic with top quality. Honestly, price is what sold me the car. It was not better than the GS overall nor the 5 series. But the dealer was so scared I would walk when I mentioned GS and 5 series, I got the car UNDER MSRP. Amazing! The interior is gorgous, wood or aluminum. The seats are nice and comfy. Why a Bose stereo??? The car feels heavy but that V-8 purrs, man it is fast. The looks, it looks like a giant ALtima or Maxima or G35. Not a favorite. But for the price, the car could not be beat. I just hope I don't regret it come resale time.
Pros: Power and overall solid feel of the car
Cons: They should include the rear wing as standard on the car
Advice: Drive this car for yourself and take with a grain of salt all the praise given the Mercedes and BMWI actually went to the dealership to purchase the Q45. I test drove the M and it was the vehicle I was actually looking for. The car is firm, with that feeling of vault like quality. The interior is on par with other vehicles costing much more. In fact I saw exposed cup holders today in a $74,000 Volkswagen Phaeton. The handling was crisp, and the power was evident. I had also visited the BMW dealership to look at both the 745 and 545, and I can tell you the 5 series has nothing on the M45, in fact, the M45 is under priced given it's feature set, engine, and quality. I was looking for a car that is unique, and the M45 is that. I will not see myself coming and going. The look has grown and me and I can say now that the choice I made was a good one. I have owned my M45 for six weeks and just came back from a long weekend in the LA area. The drive from Arizona to LA was a very pleasent one in which I cruised at 100 MPH effortlessly. The car is so stong and solid that 100 on freeway feels like normal driving. I heard no harsh wind noise, vibration, etc. This was my first car is quite some time, as my last four vehicles have been SUV's, three Landcruisers, and one ML430. My last car prior to the M45 was a 94 Lexus GS300. The M45 is the best car I have owned to date. I highly recommend this vehicle.
Pros: Performance, luxury, smooth ride at high speeds. Very quick, fast car. Sleeper form what my friends say.
Cons: Leg room in back.
Advice: I think you'll be completely satisfied with the car. Check out the performance. This car is great! The performance is outstanding! The amenities w/this vehical are unlimited. I highly recommend this car. I have it laomost a year and I am throughly impressed, no complaints. The looks of the car get better on you with time.
