Cons: Road noise
Advice: Take a long test drive in the vehicle you are buying to make sure tires are ok.Love the power in our Odyssey but...have had road noise problem and tire problems since day 1. Of course, tires are not covered under warranty so I have had to deal with Firestone/Bridgestone. Have had vehicle for 5 months and problems still not resolved. This is my 3rd Honda so am hopeful this tire problem is a fluke...but it has been quite annoying. Dealer has not been helpful at all, especially the guy who got the commission for the sale. If you live in the Phoenix area then I would not shop at Honda Cars of Mesa!
Pros: fold down rear seat,spacious
Cons: bumpy ride & very noisy
Advice: like a beautiful woman, look good but living with her is another storyvery unbalanced brakes between front & rear, very, very noisy interior because of weight saving so neglected on sound proofing, very disturbing road noise that I cannot have a conversation inside or I have to tune up the music volume to numb me.Another problem is lousy ride quality, may be due to sport suspension or tires. All these make the van feel cheap,a bread & butter car or love & hate utlitarian.Never get to the top.
Pros: Safety and the convience of the back seat.
Cons: No sunroof
Advice: Go for itI have been waiting to buy a mini-van; I waited on the leather seats and now I am waiting on one with a sun roof. Any chance of that happening any time soon? The Odyssey is my choice by far.
Pros: The overall vehicle design, convenience, safety ratings
Cons: The fact it is a mini-van
Advice: Buy one!Smooth at highway (+) speeds, nice on corners
Pros: power and handling
Cons: i would like brighter reversing lights
Advice: go for itwe got the lx with leather and dvd. we love it best car I ever owned we traded a 2001 odyssey lx and I loved that. But the new one has more power, 5 speed auto,4 wheel disc brakes, side air bags, better sound system, the dvd works great, overall worth every penny of the $30,000 best of all the trade in value on the 2001 odyssey was great
Pros: Engine and Powertrain Upgrade
Cons: Low end speaker sound AM/FM/CD stereo system
Advice: Try to get a better price by dealing with the fleet or internet managerSome minor rattling from both sliding doors. Quieter engine, definitely more horsepower and pickup from stop due to 5-speed Auto tranny. A major improvement! Tires are wider and lower aspect ration for performance. Wheels are forged differently to prevent rim scuffing. Now with 4-wheel disc brakes! Minor cosmetic changes. Honda emblems may be too large. Overall, Honda, has done an outstanding job!
