    2005 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX (A5) Sedan

Pros: The 4 cylinder engine -- plenty of power and great gas mileage too

Cons: The pod-shaped radio -- I can't put in my Alpine head unit

Advice: The V6 is great, but do you really need it?

This is my 3rd Accord, each one being a different 'generation' body and engine. This Accord just rides better, handles better, and has more power than my last Accord. The brakes are great, the gas mileage is great, I love it. The only problem I've seen is their little storage bin below the heater controls has a door that occasionally sticks. That's it. Highly recommended.

2006 Honda Civic Hybrid - With Navigation

    Pros: Navigation system

    Cons: acceleration

    Advice: test drive first

A solid car. The acceleration is a bit weaker that one would hope. The car is nice to drive otherwise and the navigation system is great.

2005 Honda Civic - Hybrid w/ULEV (CVT) Sedan

Pros: How incredibly quiet the car is

Cons: Lots of expensive little things 30K maintence is $350 and the 'special' tires are $150each

Advice: dont think you will save a fortune in gas with this car, I get 42mpg consistantly but thats not much more then a regular civic. Be aware that maintence on this car is more expensive and there is 'special' oil required that you can only get from the deale

Love this car, very quiet and roomy. Its a comfortable car in general for both myself and my passengers. It does have a bit less power then the Corolla I had before this car but its not a big difference. The fact I can drive in the carpool lane alone is a nice bonus and I did enjoy the large tax credit. I had a strange problem with the transmission just after I bought it that caused the car to turn itself off when I was driving. This only happend once and the dealer said it was a bad computer chip. In general gas milage is about 42 mpg consistantly with not much difference between city and country driving.

    2005 Honda Civic - EX w/Side SRS (A4) Sedan

Pros: I thought is was reliable. I really can't say.

Cons: It is shutting off at unexpected times.

    Advice: Don't buy this car.

I purchased this car with reliability in mind right? That's what Honda is supposedly known for...Well, my car only has 5485 miles on it and I took it in for a state inspection(Jan 6, 06) and while that was taking place, the lights were blinking and the car shuts off. The inspector thought I had a timer on it, Not! He gave me a boost and I thought nothing of it. Exactly a week later, I am out on the town in rainy, cold weather so of course I have wipers going and heat on. I stop to pick up a friend and car shuts off. I shut everything off and let the car rest. Then it starts up again. I take my car into R&S Strauss the next day and I tell them the problem. They look at my car and give me a printout that states my battery is dead and the alternator is charging at 12.34v. Since it is still under warranty, Strauss recommended that I take the car back to the dealer. I take the car to a certified Honda Parts & Repair place and they run the tests and tell me that there is nothing wrong with my car. I also called the main office in California to let them know what was happening but since no problem was found there is nothing they can do about it. While waiting, I meet another person with the same problem. While the car is in an idle position it runs the risk of shutting off and not starting up. Are there others out there with the same problem or any other problems that I should be aware of? Now, I am afraid to drive the car alone for a long distance. Any suggestions, please help. Honda Civic Sedan-2005-EX-4spd. Thanks, PBNYCE.

    2005 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX w/Leather/XM (A5) Sedan

Pros: Lighted Steering Wheel controls for radio/CD/XM Sat.

    Cons: Door trim appears weak

Advice: Test drive both engines with passengers! Internet Shop for best deal.

Only thing I didn't get was the V-6 and Navigation. Where's the heated side mirrors? 4 CYL. is just Ok. I do mostly highway so it's not that noticable. Around town be prepared for the sluggish behavior of the 4 CYL.,especially with all seats occupied. Stock tires Michelins ARE noisy. Started purchase process using Internet and really got the price down before I visited dealership. Purchased vehicle below Invoice! Only other nit-picky item is the coin holder location. When driving it's pratically inaccesable with adult hands. Had a 95 Accord with 168,000 and the 2005 is a big step up the status ladder.

2005 Honda Civic - Hybrid w/ULEV (CVT) Sedan

Pros: The fuel economy and the CVT transmission

Cons: Acceleration is normally quite good, except when going uphill from a dead stop.

Advice: If you drive moderately, get this car. If you speed excessively, you won't get great MPG.

The Honda Civic Hybrid is silky smooth, quiet, with adequate and silent acceleration due to the electric assist. I really love everything about this car. After 15,000 miles I am getting about 48 MPG from this car in mostly a short city commute of 6 miles. On the highway, driving 65 MPH I average about 52 MPG.

    2003 Honda Insight - Base (M5)

Pros: Peace of mind, I now have a car, truck or whatever this is with decent gas mileage, Honda name, great stereo, abs brakes, good visibility, lots of cup holders, room for overnight sleepovers, handlebility is great, cool car, truck or whatever this is!

Cons: No hand rest for my significant other allows her the opporunity to use her hands while talking, get it - talking?

Advice: Look for a optional handrest - that will shut her up! :) Just kidding this thing is awesome and we have became a family again because of all the things we can do together in it.

    great
