Fit Love Affair
Cons: EgressGreat little car!!
Pros: Auto stop at red lights, no fuel burned
Cons: actual milage against factory ratingsI have a new Honda insight, and the car is fantastic. The only thing I do not like is that it will not get the miles per gallon that they say. In Europe where I bought mine, they say, 4.7 liters per 100 klm city, 4.1, highway and 4.4 combined. Not true, I have done everything possible and the best I can get is 5.8 per 100 klm and most of the time it is 6.2 per 100. I think all car makers should be realistic about milage. we do not drive on flat leval roads as set speeds. cars should be tested in actual city driving and regular highway driving, not test tracks. Other than that it is a great car and well priced under the Toyota Prius.
Cons: in behind a 18 wheeler it was blowen around a littlepicked up my new fit sport 2 weeks ago,had it 3 days and headed to Florida and all i can say is wow .. fuel mileage was 36 mpg, ride was smooth and performance was great !! if your looking for a new car take a look at the fit sport! you cant go wrong
Pros: Honda FIT
Advice: Excellent Car to ownedGood Car
Pros: Great gas mileage and so much cheaper than Toyota Prius.
Cons: The getting in and out of the car for me since being so big and handicap
Advice: Buy the EX not the LX so much difference and see about one with Nav. system.I get around 38.5 mpg around town, but 45-55 on the Highway. I am a big guy 6 FT. 312 pounds and it is roomy for me. fold down rear seats and you have plenty of storage. It handldes very well. Has a very nice stereo. I usually go over 400 miles on tank of gas just driving around town before hitting empty. Has nice inf center for basic car.
Pros: looks, interior room, mpg champ, etc.......
Cons: no driver's seat height adjustment
Advice: Watch out for dealer mark-up due to high demand.I just purchased this car last night and I love it!! The great gas mileage and interior room is tremendous. And for a little 117hp car, it's fun to drive. It's a great car inside and out. Just watch out for dealer mark-ups on it because demand, at least in the new england area is high. So be aware and be patient. Way to go, Honda!!
Pros: Paddle Shifters
Cons: How about an armrest? or a lumbar support?
Advice: Don't hesitate! This is the best vehicle for the money. Period!SPORT AUTOMATIC OWNERS PLEASE READ! I have the 5AT SPORT with PADDLE SHIFTERS. I noticed some gear hunting while using cruise control on the highway (some blogs also mention this). If you put the tranny in Sport mode and select fifth gear the automatic will stay put. Makes for a more pleasant ride. The FIT is the simply the best 5-door vehicle you can buy. Roomy, sporty, reliable, efficient, and it's a Honda! Mine is one year old with 11K miles. Per Kelly Blue Book, I could sell mine today for more than I bought it for!
