Honda Insight-the car you can't get any more
Pros: Gas mileage and Honda quality
Cons: It can be noisy...but who cares? This review is for the 2006 Honda Insight. That year was the last year of manufacture for this very unusual car. First, it is a two-passenger car. Second, it gets 76 to 80 miles per gallon when driven according to the owner's manual. And third, Honda brought back the Insight brand as a four-passenger this year, but it only get about 60 miles per gallon. My 2006 Insight makes no pretenses concerning comfort, quietness or ride. It was made as light as possible which left off things like sound insulation and comfortable seats. The pay off with this terrific car is the fact that it is the most economical vehicle to operate on the face of the planet; no car, not Prius, not anyone can come close. I commute 84 miles per day. At the end of five days, my fill-up is 7.5 gallons of gas. If you can find one of these, buy it.
2010 Fit SportGreat urban car. Fun to Drive.
Don't worry about gas prices
Pros: MPG and fun to drive
Cons: back seat roomWe love this little car. Bought it in August 2009 and have driven it 10,000 miles without worry of gas prices. Very comfortable and fun to drive. My wife and I play a game (which this car teaches you how to play) to see how high a miles per gallon we can get. So far 54mpg is our top!
Perfect for the cause
Cons: bumpy rideI bought this car for economy and conservation. I get around 28-30 mpg in the city and 38 -43 on the highway(w/o AC). I love the practicality of the interior and the different configurations available. It accommodates 4 adults comfortably and with no problems. The paddle shifters are fun but I seldom use them. The car has a bumpy ride due to its short wheelbase. The quality is great. I've got 10K miles on the car and I am very happy.
2003 Honda Civil LX 5 speed
