Fun to drive
Pros: apperance
Cons: bumpy ride sometimes
Owned my Element for a year now. Have had no problems. An all around fun truck to drive. Has alot to offer. The Best All-Weather Any Adventure 4X4 SUV
Pros: Instrumentation Placement-Perfect
Cons: Uncomfortable Seats/Suspension to Stiff
A blast to drive. Brings an automatic smile to ones' face, As soon as you hit the driver's seat and put her through the pace. She handles like a high performance automobile, with plenty of power, when you need it. Holds the road and corners like on rails, gotta try it to feel it. No matter mud, rain, ice, or snow, the Element AWD 4X4s, the way to go.Waterproof-Stainproof floor and seats to boot. Skiis,to two Mtn. bikes, just flip up the seats, throw'em in, no hoot. Need a nap, flip em, down flat, the 4X4 Element's still where it's at.Best ever
Pros: 4- wheel drive
Cons: cost & honest salesmen.
This Element being the second Element that my has owned tells you that it is a great car as my wife says. Lots of room, engine needs help with a few more HP. Tows good, Moon roof is questionble. My wife would rather it was not there. A great winter car. likes the seats that raise to the sides. Front seat not as durable as she likes and short on comfort for the cross country ride. Buy your towing hitch from UHaul half the cost of Honda. Some Honda dealers will try to get more money from with cheap things add to your car. Etching the window, a alarm system, shine on you car, scot guard for the interior and many more useless items that they charge an outrageous price for. I have not met an honest salesman or finance manger. But back to the Element, my wife says that if she gets another car it will be another Element. The car can also be fitted with a whee lchair lift.Pros: mp3 player
goodIt's Elemental
Pros: Drives like a dream!
Cons: Opening rear side doors in garage.
I have owned many cars, a few trucks, a Suburban and a 4Runner. My Element is the best all around performer. Economical, plenty of room for shopping, camping, road trips and my wife is an artist so there have been times when she has filled it up with numerous canvasses of all sizes which would not have been possible with many other larger vehicles. Great economy and it's cool too.Great Do Anything Vehicle
Pros: four wheel drive
Cons: the high cost of accessories
The Element has been the best car I have owned. a no nonsense vehilce. Could use a few more engine. But can't say to much about the engine, We pulled a 5X8 trailer loaded full all over the US and no problems. Never been to the dealer for repairs, This is our second Element and the first had 93,000 miles when we traded with zero problems.Pros: versatility, fits in a garage with a lot of room to spare
Cons: none
Advice: BUY IT!!!
We picked up our 09 Element Lx 4WD over a month ago and from a first day it struck me as a very solidly build one. Let’s be honest we did not buy it because we instantly fell in love with it. At $20.650 new was hard to ignore – add a decent financing of 1.99 APR. We are well in our 30’s with a single child and we were looking for a vehicle we could utilize for more than just ride to work but also for outdoor activities: bicycling, skiing etc. My wife adds approx 20K a year to the vehicle so buying anything “nice” didn’t seem like a good and sensible idea. I have to tell you that Element surpassed so far my expectation as for the versatility and utility of the vehicle. Huge cargo room with a single seat folded you can put in anything you want . Durable rubber floor- not a carpet that you have to watch for spills and such all the time. The rear gate folds flat so you can haul longer objects ( fridges, washing machines and such, anything big). Some people complain about that it sluggish. I don’t think it is slower than vehicles out on the road – never had any problems accelerating the vehicle. The driver has a commanding view while driving . Seem to be as fast as any accord/civic (except V6 perhaps). If I want to go fast I usually use my CBR1000RR – believe me , this is fast!!!! You cannot mach it with your tin can!! So back to the Element – I f you are an active person using your vehicle for other extra activities and do not have to have every surface covered with carpet or a faux wood panels – BUY IT – IT IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED NOTHING YOU DON’T
