Good vehicle.
Pros: Utility and dependability. Also like the looks
Cons: Difficult to get into and out of the back seats
Nice vehicle. No real complaints. Very comfortable for long tripsgreat SUV for the suburban family to do light driv
Pros: small enough to fit in parking spaces easily but big enough to get the job done
Cons: the cheapness of the seats
Great vehicle except it did not hold up well under heavy driving conditions.love it
Pros: green
great car - need to updatevery good vehicle for the price
Pros: Hands free phone system
Cons: the seat design
It was is a good vehicle but the seat on the basic model need a better design. The attenea for the radio is out dated and has a flawed design. It can be broken off???Pros: Comfortable, roomy, good power, good looks
Cons: Gas mileage. The 6 and 8 both get about the same mileage, the six should do at least 26MPG highway
Advice: Get the 8, more power, almost identical mileage.
Bought this used for my wife as a gift. I have to admit GMC did a pretty good job on it. After driving it 6 months and tweaking some of the bugs out (passenger seat sides have the tendency to pop out of their slots) it has actually been nice to drive. Decent power, good looks, comfortable and roomy seating 5 well. Nice storage in the back, holds plenty of stuff. The drivers side mirror switch broke but that's minor, i can replace it myself for a few dollars. All in all I would buy another, I'm normally an import guy (I was looking at a 4-runner, older, few more miles, but in my book more dependable) but this one actually suprised me.Pros: The NAV system and audio
Cons: Maybe a little too much plastic on dash board
Advice: Test drive it first, remember is a suv expect a little bounce but plenty of comfort
This suv is well balance, inside and out. It has a great plush interior, easy to use controls and the interior parts are well fitted. The engine on the DENALI is great, it is powerful and sounds even better, it gives you the confidence of a strong vehicle. IT handles well in the turns however expect some shake on less than perfect roads, you might find some comfort if you decide to get the self leveling rear suspension. This vehicle is truly quiet inside the noise outside is barely noticeable even on the highway, and to this add the NAV system and you get the BOSE sound system that it is truly magnificent. Also the DENALIs come with side steps, a classic honeycomb chrome grille and body moldings, wich help further set apart this truck from the rest. One set back could the use of cheap platic on some areas of the dash. Overall this truck is great with the DENALI package, and for the amount of money you can not go wrong.Pros: The sound sysstem and the On Star proved useful
Cons: Missed the front seat width that was great in the Suburban
Advice: Test drive and talk to other owners of this vehicle
Just purchased a 2005 Envoy SLE XL with 16,000 miles on it. The main use is to tow my 25' camping trailer weighing 5000lbs. Have already completed one 2000 mile trip and I am completely satisfied with the performance of this vehicle and its ability to tow the trailer without problems of any kind. The 4.2 engine did a superb job and the compfort of the vehicle was excellent. I have 12 years of experience towing with a GMC Suburban and I believe the Envoy is, and will be a better tow vehicle, delivering better gas mileage.
