Ford Focus wagon - little car that could
Pros: tons of space
Cons: looks too much like a mini vanHad the car for almost 7 years. Still using the OEM battery. I've changed the oil/filters and tires - nothing else. No problems. 38 MPG on the highway (if I stay under 75) 30 mpg in town. I can haul my bikes, kayak, 4 people and a lot of camping gear with no problem. Need a dresser moved - no problem. Tons of space, great gas mileage and reliable - what else is there?
Best in Class
Pros: Very quiet ride, good interior layout, best technology
Cons: nothingWe're patient buyers and comped the Flex to the Honda Pilot, Acura MDA, Chevy Traverse, Toyota Highlander, Toyota 4Runner, and Hyundai Vera Cruz. All are generally in the same price range, although the safety ratings and rollover resistence on the Flex and Pilot are the best. When we test drove, the Flex outshined the rest in our opinion and the technology in the car was far superior. It's a big vehicle and get's decent gas mileage. Vehicle continues to impress us as we get to know it better.
Better than expected
Pros: Overall handling and vision.
Cons: Took me awhile to get use to the look but now I like it.This is an excellent auto which has been great to own, economical and super performance.
