    2008 Chrysler Town and Country

    Town and Country 2008

Pros: lots of cargo space with the sto and go feature.

Cons: we downsized from a ford excursion so this vehicle seems a bit small.

Great vehicle if you have kids to haul around, I have the stow and go and it comes in handy when hauling a bunch of stuff. The 3.8 engine is also pretty peppy. Kids love the dvd player overheads. On the down side, I have had it in for 2 air conditioner leaks in high pressure hoses.

    2008 Chrysler Town and Country

    Great for grandkids BUT..!!!

    Pros: Entertainment/dvd/tv system

    Cons: BRAKES..!!!!

Many 'auto door/ lift gate issues' Brake pad/rotor wearout very quickly..a problem that Chrysler should recall the brakes to replace with more durable assemblies..

2008 Chrysler Town and Country - Touring

Pros: Comfort, ease of use, performance.

Cons: Styling. To be fair, that applies to all MiniVans.

Advice: 'Order' the 'Limited' model. Stock cars come loaded with videos etc. you may not need.

As a rule, I usually only buy large performance oriented sedans &/or coupes, such as the Chrysler 300C & Challenger SRT that I currently own too. But I needed this MiniVan for utility purposes & purchased it for it's size & configuration & didn't really care about anything else. As a rule, I find all MiniVans to be butt ugly. HOWEVER, since purchasing this Chrysler MiniVan, I have abosolutely fallen in love with it. This vehicle is very comfortably large & offers great visibility, comfort & surprisingly very good handling & performance. Considering the type of cars I usually drive, I wasn't expecting much from a 200 hp 6 cyl engine. However, matched up with an excellent 6 speed transmission, it feels more like 265 hp. It handles the interstate at 80 mph with ease. The seats all fold completely flat into the floor leaving a tremendous cargo area. Both side & rear doors open with the touch of a button on your fob which makes loading material or children wonderfully easy. Never expected to even like this MiniVan. I love it.

2007 Chrysler Town and Country - Limited Long Wheelbase Passenger

    Pros: too many favorites

Cons: controls do not illuminate, I can not see to use them at night

Advice: Take a night time test drive

I have only had my T & C Limited for two weeks and have had no problems so far. I love the way it handles, the way it drives is great, and it is very comfortable. However, I wish I had test drove it at night. The radio/nav system, crusie control, heated seat buttons, hazzard button, rear window wiper controls, and climate controls do NOT illuminate. I was not told this before the purchase. It is a pain trying to use any of these controls at night. Check out this car at night before buying it.

2006 Chrysler Town and Country - Passenger

    Pros: space

Cons: have to press hard on the brakes to stop

Advice: look around real good before you decide to purchase

We were in a rush to buy a car as our previous car was totaled. I wish I had more time to look around. Overall the van is not that bad. I am just upset that with only 10000 miles on it, my rotors need to be cut. This never happened to me with any other vehicle I owned.

2006 Chrysler Town and Country - Passenger

    Pros: Nothing

    Cons: The Whole Package

Advice: Don't make the same mistake I did

I am a Town & Country owner with currently 43,000 miles. This van has been nothing but a headache for me. My transmission is slipping. My rear end howls. My front bushings are in need of replacement (AGAIN).Wheel bearings seem to be a problem. The headlights fill up with water causing fog. My van has died on me when braking several times, my transmission fluid looks like TAR. Resale value does not exist. Stay away from Dodge/ Chrysler vans.

2005 Chrysler Town and Country - Passenger

    Pros: comfort

    Cons: nothing

    Advice: Give this HIGH consideration.

This is our first mini-van. Gotta tell you, this 'ain't' your fathers van. Rides like a big car, handles like a dream. This is more than we expected. The T&C is the best van for the money. No rattles or bumps, just a quiet solid ride. I can't say enough great things about this vehicle, and to top it off it's the best looking mini-van bar none!
