Chrysler tries,but can't equal a real Mercedes
Pros: Sporty look and agility
Cons: Poor warranty coverage and service
Between the poor service/warranty and Chryslers' lack of support,I would have avoided this vehicle.Check the rear wheel tilt-acceptable is +/- 1.5).Mine was at 1.2(with-in tolerance:so they say) and the vehicle ate tires every 10K miles.Once a year, you will need to spend about $800 for a new set.Oil changes will tag you for $100+ and God forbid ,you have a radiator leak, you will need to replace the $146 cabin filter. If you have gobs of money to toss about frivolously, this could be your vehicle.Sound system was very good, but didn't compensate for the problems occuring after purchase.Chrsler is very good at putting off warranty work until after it has expired.Don't expect an 'olive branch' when trying to get them to cover anything-much like pulling your own teeth.I LOV MY CROSSFIRE IT HAS BEEN A PLSURE TO DRIVE LOOKING FORWARD TO MY RIDE TO AND FROM WORK EACH DAY
This is an evening auto for pleasure driving.
Pros: car design
Cons: backing up
People love to hate & this auto gives them reason to they are green with envy. When I drive this auto I pop my buttons I'm so deliriously happy.Pros: The style is classical.
Cons: I like everything.
Advice: Buy one and you will love it.
Beautiful design, great handling, good performance and gas milage, very reliable, goes in the snow, quality interior, unique car and rare. This car makes me smile when I drive it.Pros: unique looks. not another clone on the road.
Cons: tiny radio dials.
Advice: its a sports car. expect limited visability & a rough ride, but get one anyway.
just picked up my new 05 crossfire limited with GPS, for the amazing price of $ 20,500.00. this is less then the price of a stratus. the car looks & handles excellent.Pros: Styling, inviting personal space for two with high fun to drive quotient
Cons: Poor rearward visibility and fairly rough ride on broken roads.
Advice: Take an extended test drive - you'll love it.
I've had my 2005 Crossfire Ltd for two months. The Crossfire is a unique, standout sports car. The six speed brings the best out of the superb engine. You'll love the sound of the motor as it revs above 3,000 and the way it flies through corners is astounding. The stereo is fantastic. Caution - drivers must get mirrors adjusted correctly and be comfortable using them versus shoulder checking - critical because of large blindspots from c-pillars.Pros: Styling
Cons: cup holder
Advice: Negotiate a good price
I just love every minute driving this car. It's fun to drive.
