Pros: The price (you get what you pay for)
Cons: Take your pick
Advice: Do not waste your moneyAwful!! Buying this vehicle was a huge mistake. I think that GM used spare parts to put this thing together. We purchased our Uplander in July of '05 and it's been in the shop ever since. Everything from the starter to the alternator. (its been in 3 times for the alternator, (I am currently in the process of filing papers for a buy back from GM) The DVD has never worked right, the remote for that system has never worked right, interference from the dvd though the radio, light censor for dash only works half the time, the list goes on. Handles horribly, lights flicker and dim continuously. I have owned several Chevy vehicles and NEVER have I been so disappointed. I don't know what we were thinking.
Pros: When it all works fine
Cons: The car being in the shop more than on the road
Advice: Do not buy.Do not buy this vehicle. We have had it for 6 months and it has been in to be fixed 5 times. Not worth the hassle.
Pros: DVD system and automatic sliding door
Cons: electrical stuff. In 2.5 months of owning it, Radio has been 'fixed' 5 times but still doesn't work right. headlights flicker when driving, security system serviced 2 times
Advice: well worth itLoved it on test drive. I knew it was meant for me when I first sat in it. Drives and handles wonderful
Cons: leg space and comfort
Advice: not to buywe took this vehicle on a vacation and it was the most uncomfortable car i have ever rode in there were no arm rest in the middle seats not enough leg room on the drivers side it had to be made for midgets to drive. The overall handling of the car was very good, also gas mileage was ok. We rented this vehicle from Budget Car Rentals the only reason we took it was because they had nothing else available. This was the most uncomfortable vacation that we have ever taken.
Advice: Dont buyI also have problems with interior lights/headlights flickering. I have also had it in the shop twice since my purchase 3 months ago. I would not reccommend this vehicle to anyone! As soon as I am able to trade this thing in without being 10,000 in the hole, its a gonner!
Pros: The ease of getting into the third row seating.
Cons: the elctrical problems and GM not helping or standing behind their products
Advice: do not purchase this vehicleI too am having problems with dimming lights, mine happen if I have other electrical items running or nothing but just headlights. It's gotten to the point that I am afraid to drive at night as I feel that this is a REAL safety hazard. I have always loved my Chevy products, but I think that this is enough to look elsewhere.
Pros: The SUV look with minivan functionality
Cons: Limited rear legroom; no rear cargo space in regular version
Advice: Only buy if the car's looks are important to you. That's what sold us compared to other vehicles. If you have a large family buy the extended versionSmooth ride, good acceleration, particularly at lower speeds. Excellent standard features. The digital readout is pretty cool; it gives instant fuel economy stats and an estimated number of miles/km until next fill-up. Front seats are comfortable, but as we didn't get the extended version legroom is very limited in the 2nd and 3rd rows. The stereo system has a nice sound and interface; I especially liked the auxiliary inputs so we can use our portable MP3 player.
