overpriced
Pros: none
Cons: road and wind noise.
This chevy has been disapointing from the begining. the seats are too narrow and not comfortable. the road noise and wind noise are awfull. If you drive a gravel road the dust will choke you. My old chevy venture was twice the vehicle this is. Its been to the shop more than any vehicle i've owned in the last 52 years.Pros: ROOMY INSIDE
Cons: SMALL ENGINE
Advice: NO ADVICE,EVERY ONE MANAGE HIMSELF
CHEVROLET UPLANDER 2006 LT EXT MODEL EXCELLENT,EXEPT ENGINE 3.5 LITER HAS NO POWER TO GO UPHILLS NO POWER DRIVER SEAT,NO DVD,NO POWER DOOR.Pros: DVD player
Cons: everything else, especially sliding doors
Advice: steer clear, go for Pontiac Montana or Dodge Caravan
Unfortunately the best thing about this car is the DVD player. I have had it in the shop 10 times in ine year :( Both sliding doors have broken & things like seat belts, a/c controllers (rear, located on dvd player????) and fuel indicator lights have all been replaced!! Convenient built in car seat is great until you are left stranded with NO car seat when your car breaks down or has to be in the shop for weeks!!! Would never suggests this vehicle to ANYONE!!Pros: DVD, Power sliding doors.
Cons: No Nav system for this year model offered. Gas mileage
Advice: Get the power options. Remote doors are nice when hands are full.
Rides nice. It has alot of room. I wish the third row seats flipped down into the floor like other brands. Lugging those seats in and out is not for a small woman. DVD is great but I would like to see an additional hook up for a second monitor for the passenger seat up front. On long trips my wife would like to sit by me as I drive and watch the DVD player.Pros: I like the look
Cons: It smells like sulfur
Advice: Don't buy it. Buy a Ford!
My husband and I purchased this in Feb of 06 and in just a few short months we noticed a sulfur smell coming from the exhaust. Took it in still under warranty and they tell me it's a sensor, change sensor....still smelling. Take it back tell me now that it's the gas I use. Change gas types several times....still smells. Take it back now they are telling me it's normal. Everyone I talk to tell me it's the catalytic converter. Contacted Chevy they tell me it's normal. It's been in the shop 5x's now and the problem still exists. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. Chevy fails to up hold their warranty.Pros: room for the whole family
Cons: no arm rest in middle seats and no cup holders in middle seats
Advice: get middle console
has plenty of room for my teenagers to ride comfortable drives really well in town and on highwayPros: being able to see
Cons: rear seat can not be change to small seat confegeration .To allow more luggage space
Advice: Shop around
We bought one . The driver view is great .You are high enought to see. The ride is fair ,and very good on smooth roads.Gas milage is not so great at this time may inprove. The back seat should interchange with the two small middle seats.Good for hauling a family.Plenty of get up and go.A little flakey on rought roads .Tire pressure has to be at 35 .Good for craft shows.
