Powerful
Pros: Engine
Cons: Car has to be in reverse while parked or dead battery
Car is resonably quiet and comfortable for such a powerful car. Quality is above average with little or no noise on regular streets and highways.I wish car was a little smaller in size with same engine choices.great sports car
Pros: engine power - performance
Cons: front air deflector scrapes the ground on dips & driveways
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertable w/stick. Amazing performance and great gas mileage if you can refrain from standing on the pedal. The performance exceeded all of my expectations. Fit and finish are great. Get the dual mode exhaust and chrome wheels. The LS3 engine idles smooth, revs to 6,500 rpms, and gets good mileage also! Completely stable at very high speeds. The Z51 brakes are the best I've ever had. The C6 rules!'04 Z06 'BEST VETTE YET'
Pros: LS6 motor, especial How it piulls in 1st and 2nd gears to redline.(engine and exhaust sounds are such sweet music).
Cons: Seats & interior pieces , 1-4 shift skip
I've owned many new Corvettes, Ferrari's , Porsche's and BMW's , but as far as dependebility, looks, and performance are concerned non can match my '04 Z06, with heads up, black w /special black/red intrior upgrade, wheel and tire upgrades. For the most part it.s bone stock as it came from the factory.' It looks better and is quicker by far than most cars costing 2 x's it's price. I replace the air filter and Mobil 1 synthetic (5W 30) every 2500 mi (never burned a drop btn changes). It's got new Toyo R1's , easily gets 18 city and 25 hgwy. The factory black paint even when new sucked, and at 40K mi, it needs a good deep cleaning/acid wash to remove wax buildup. All and all I'm hard pressed to find anything that looks as good or performs as well for the price . I'm currently looking for a replacment as I want to get down to one everyday driver. It will be hard to sell my Z06 especially after the great times and all of the smiles it's put on my face. I still get thumbs up every day and not just from other Corvette drivers. Lets get back to basics.. A Corvette under 50 grand, with a bit of cam shake/ sound (ala-) 63 fulie or '67 427/ 435, exhaust howl, round gauges, split window, and seats befitting a LEGEND! .great car
Pros: performance
Cons: radio
My wife scoffs when I say that it is actually practical. This car has great performance (except on snow), is great looking, has been trouble-free and has a surprisingly large trunk.Best of both worlds
Pros: Power & gas mileage!
Cons: It took awhile to understand the automatic transmission.
It is a great car. No complaints. Bought it new in March 2008. It has 11,000 miles on it now. I get 17 mpg around town & 29 mpg on the highway. It is my daily driver, not a garage queen. Many sports cars are hard on you. Not this car. I love it on long trips. Great in the rain.Pros: Very comfortable ride and easy conversation with the top down.
Cons: You mean there is something not to like?
Advice: Compare and try before you buy something else.
We own a 2008 conv, Z-51, dual tone exhaust, 6sp AT with less that 1,000 miles. This is our 2d new conv, 5th overall and not only is it the best Vette yet, but I would not accept any other sports car at any price. On our first trip to Palms Spring, Ca from Las Vegas, Nv we averaged 30 MPG at 55-80 MPH!!! Try that in your Lambo or Prancing Horse!!! And we carried enough luggage for 2 with the top down.Pros: touch screen nav, push button start, telescoping wheel, hud display ... so many things i love about this car
Cons: seasonal car
Advice: if you like being noticed, have untouchable accelration, and rocking an americian icon get it, if your a little older or dont want a heavy clutch get a stock vette probally convertable
amazing car, beats cars 200k more in every aspect, no problems yet and it feels like an extenshion of your person
