Pros: Keyless entry and remote start.
Cons: Seat memory settings are in the computer instead of set on door buttons.
Advice: Bought it based on price
Going from an Acura to a Cadillac was a real mental challange. The first 3,000 miles have been great. The computer system is too complex (includes a 2.5 hour cd) but I love the MP3 player. GM has some kinks to iron out. Keyless fob, I love it! At first I thought it was a gimmick, but now I am hooked. Living on the edge of the Rocky Mountains, the V-6 is outstanding on the drive from Denver to Summitt County, particularly on the steep approach to the tunnel on I-70. Downside is milage, 19-20 in town and 22 expressway. And that is conservative driving. I love the car, but as with all the new cars it is so complex, I would be afraid to keep it beyond waranty. -

No need to go elsewhere, this is a world class car. I have driven Mercedes, BMW and Lexus, there is nothing that can outperform this new 06 Cadillac STS. It's luxurious, quick, easy on gas and very confortable. Excellently built with solid road manners. Here in Miami, Fl. I see the folks in the Acuras etc. always cought staring as my STS goes by. Best car I have ever driven!!! -

Pros: Once programmed I need do nothing but get in and drive.
Cons: Interior dash is average.
Advice: Consider the V8
Drives as expected. Getting 22 MPG in the city. I am enjoying the features. Interior satisfactory, exterior excellent. -

Advice: Buy something Else
MILEAGE IS HORRIBLE! Sticker is 27 mpg Highway. Cadillac finally said that is rated at 60mph. If you do 70- 75mph on Interstate, you get 21.5 to 22mpg. And in town I am lucky to get 15mpg. Cadillac dealer told me 'that's just the way it is' I drive on I-5 in California, using cruise control. Plus I am gentle driver intown. Previous car was Jaguar S Type and it got 29.7mpg on same I-5 route and 23 in town. PLUS- it is nondescript. People ask 'what kind of car is that?' -

I am Extremely impressed with this car. Features and benifits in this Cadillac are outstanding. Handling is firm and transmision shifts are smooth. -
2006 Cadillac STS - V6
Pros: Electronics, smart key, bluetooth, and XM radio.
Cons: HORRIBLE GAS MILEAGE- 20% LESS THAN STICKER - ON HWY USING CRUISE
Advice: Buy something else.
GAS MILEAGE SUCKS- I drive from SF to LA a 4 hour flat freeway drive (I-5) , using cruise control. Mileage at 74mph is 22mpg-- not the 27mpg on sticker. City driving is worse, I avg 14-15- not the 18 on sticker. Have 2006 STS with luxury performance pkg. Replaced a Jaguar S, 3.0 sport pkg, that got 29.2- 29.7 at 75mph. Sticker rated it at 27 also.
