Pros: The radio controls on the steering wheel and the sound system.
Cons: Must use the remote or inside button to open rear hatch.
Advice: This is an outstanding vehicle for the price.I have been very pleased with the ride and handling of my Rendezvous. I think the power is adequate for a vehicle of this type. I especially like the styling with its SUV look. The only disappointment so far is the mileage. I was hoping it would do a little better than it has so far.
Pros: The silver instrument display!!
Cons: The pickup of the engine
Advice: It's so coolI hadn't seen a Rendezvous until I went to the Detroit Auto show and was immediately bowled over by how comfortable it was, how versatile the interior was, and how stylish it looked!! I really didn't care for SUV's until I saw this, and I just fell in love with it. I drove one the next week and the ride was just as smooth as I thought it would be. The pickup of the engine isn't as good as it was in my Buick Regal, but I decided it was sufficient. My absolute favorite part of the whole vehicle is the instrument display (it's a really cool silver, not like the ugly white ones I have seen on other cars). If you like style, versatility, and comfort, this is an excellent vehicle to buy.
Pros: Storage capacity
Cons: the 5 CD player means no tape player
Advice: GO FOR IT!I absolutely LOVE this vehicle. It has the room & performance of a SUV, with the gas mileage of a van. I was amazed at the gas mileage. I also love the storage spaces in this vehicle. Even a place for my purse! No more sliding all over the car. In other words, this is my favorite car ever! (and I'm an old woman who has had a lot of cars)
Pros: Fold down and removable seats plus flat floor providing much cargo space
Cons: The engine lacks power
Advice: Get the versatrak optionThe quality of ride is excellent for a vehicle of its size and capacity; the appearance is good as well. For an active person who wants to transport bikes or skis or trees for that matter, it's great. The one negative is the lack of power when accelerating from a dead stop. The vehicle needs more horsepower at its weight.
Pros: The ride and handling is one of the best features ...
Cons: I guess the worst feature would be the Firstone tires ... all the other packages have the upgrade.
Advice: Get the versatility package. ... this is a cross between a Suv and the utility of a Van.I just purchased a Buick Rendezvous ... compared to other vehicles ... It does most things better ... it's roomier ... has a better ride ... it's all galvanized ... stainless exhaust and it also gets much better gas milage ... 26mpg ... is very good for a vehicle that weighs over 4,000lbs ... and 4,000lbs means safety ... there is no substitute for safety. I'm over 6ft tall and I fit ... my knees do not hit the dashboard and my hair doesn't hit the ceiling like most small SUV's that cost more than the Rendezvous. It handles very good and rides a lot more quiet than a mini van ... the 3.4V6 has 185HP which is more than most ... It should be just as reliable as my Montana which I've had for 3 years ... which means it is as reliable as any vehicle on the road ...
Pros: Most 'luxury' optons come standard in base model.
Cons: No power seats in base model
Advice: Consider this SUV if you are looking for a multi-functional vehicle which is not a gas guzzlerIt is a multi-functional vehicle. It rides like a luxury car but has cargo space like an SUV
Pros: On-dash display
Cons: Quality of plastic on center console (no inlaid wood)
Advice: Compare it to a Lexus or Mercedes, not a Ford ExplorerThe test drive was somewhat exciting for a Buick. The interior was quiet, the ride smooth and the features (inside and out) worthwhile. In comparison to a Lexus RX300 or Mercedes ML320, the Rendezvous provides as meany luxuries at a bigger value to me
